CrowDust looked beside him because of a greeting he had heard beside him. His gray ears flicked forward with welcome and a smile set across his face to learn the soft voice came from a beautiful she-cat named DoveFlight. "Hey DoveFlight." He purred, flicking his tail with delight. "How are you doing this morning?" CrowDust asked thoughtfully, looking at her with bold dark blue orbs.

It was a very peaceful day with no disturbance in the clan. Everything was normal, as it should be. TangleStar moved out of his den, from thinking, and decided to greet his clan because he never seemed to anymore. Since his colliding feelings about how to rule the clan he never really communicated with his own clan mates, some of which he grew up with. His sky blue eyes shifted through the rugged clearing, his striped tail tip flicking contently. Everyone was happy and that seemed to be enough. Prey was plentiful that time of year, well as plentiful as it could be, and there were many kits playing in the shade. Then he spotted RiverShade, the wise blind tom with a quick sense of humor. He remembered he liked talking with him when he was just an apprentice and he quickly made his move to talk to the tom. "Hello RiverShade." He said calmly as he got closer to him in his approach.

Shadowstalker's defensive wall arose from the ashes of the last attack once again, and his lip curled as Chillpetal's hiss processed through his head. But, his outraged demeanor disappeared as a blush streaked the she-cat's face, and he instantly felt guilty. What in the name of Starclan was this she-cat doing to him? His skin flushed an embarrassed red under his dark fur- thank Starclan, dark enough so she couldn't see it- and he shifted his paws, scuffling up dirt with uncertainty. "It was..., it was just a mistake," he spoke slowly, his voice not revealing any emotion besides an excruciating casualty. Something sparked in his amber eyes as he glanced back at Chillpetal, yet he remained expressionless as he dipped his head respectfully to the she-cat. "It's time to make the journey," he muttered before slipping away and towards the rest of his clan-mates.

Hawk silently sat up closer to the boulder, his eyes sorrowful and hard. His tail lashed from side to side. His mind raced, 'Could she have possibly never loved me?' He hissed softly and then sighed. He would not gain from going and being brutal again.

Ivorycloud saw Hawk, ears pricked. She padded over to him, silent. "Are you okay?" She finally asked.

ChillPetal looked at the tom leave, just like that. Her world might of just crashed right down right there, but she wasn't that kind of she-cat. No, she did not see his blush but maybe that was good and she started out of the den. Her bright blue eyes shifted through the clearing and she knew what was happening. That something was happening because no one listened to her opinions, no one. Though her paws still ached she still had to follow orders like a good loyal warrior, otherwise they would question her and even Hawk. ChillPetal padded over to the group and looked around for Hawk, wanting the feeling of his comforting pelt up against hers. All she could get a good look at was his head right next to IvyFlower's, probably talking about something from the sight. She huffed and just sat down at the edge of the cats, not wanting to get involved in anything at that moment.

Blackwillow saw his mate among the group of queens and slipped through the clan to sit beside her and purr. "How are you, Blazesong?"

Hawk saw Ivorycloud approach and he flattened his ears. "Nothing." His voice was chilly as his tail lashed once more. He forced himself to not claw the other warrior's ears off for invading his personal space.

Flamestar yowled, "We are leaving for the mountains! Everyone gather up into two patrols; there will be one led by me, and the other by Shadowstalker!"

Koishine gathered with the other cats. Which patrol will I be in? She wondered. She turned her attention to her leader.

Flamestar wove among the warriors assigning patrol orders and he stopped at his deputy. He dipped his head. "Good luck. We meet no later than sunset at ClawRock."
(ClawRock is a cliff)

Blackwillow heard Flamestar assign both him and Blazesong to Shadowstalker's patrol. He purred softly.

Finchfeather joined Flamestar's patrol, his tail flicking. He wanted to hurry up and go!
