Owlflight shrugged. He wasn't very convinced, but decided to let it go. If Stoneclan wants to abuse their kits for no reason, fine with me. It will only make Shadeclan stronger. He was about to comment to Lillyshade about how they should be taking better care of their clan, but he noticed how tired the elder seemed. "I had better get going. It's getting late." He mewed to his clan mate. Maybe he could be of use hunting, as he was very hungry. But then again, it was late, and he too was getting sleepy.

{by the way, I just wanted to putt it out there that Petalkit was adopted into the clan after her mother(a loner) had been killed. Some of her clan was not accepting her. Bright didn't know of Starclan. Not that important, but just saying }

Spadestar, you mouse-brain chatterbox! He'd have to learn to keep his mouth shut, or else! We didn't know if Tawnypaw had been conscious or not! I sighed, blinking. My eyes softened as I answered him, "I've already seen that medicine cats." I still did quite like him, though. Everyone made mistakes, big or small. Sometimes, even very dumb mistakes... "I'll be fine."

• • • Almost emotionlessly, I stood up. My heart was still thudding. With a flick of my tail, I gave my apprentice's scent a last glance. "Yeah, sure." I mewed flatly. And with that I began to pad casually, if not just emotionlessly back to camp. Nothing showed the true fear. Not my eyes, not my words, not my walk. Nothing. And I dearly hoped it would stay that way. Hopefully, no one would hear the rapid pace of my heart.

Owlflight padded out into the clearing. He started to head out to the rest of the island, but suddenly a wave of sleepiness came over him. Turning around, he headed toward the warrior's den. He laid down and tried to fall asleep. As tired as he was, and as good as it felt to lie down, he couldn't seen to fall asleep. Too tired to get up, he let his mind wander, mindlessly thinking about nothing in particular. Finally, he was able to drift off into an unsettled sleep...

I walked trough the forest, my paws aching with each step. I gave a harsh sigh and plopped down in some ferns. I closed my eyes, wanting to go to sleep, but images of my terrified brother being taken by the twolegs had haunted my dreams for moons. I haven't slept or eaten nearly at all since he was captured. 'Where are you, Black Dragon' I thought to myself, wishing I could find my long-lost kin.
