He padded out of the nursery and went into the Medicine Cat den. He sat in the middle of the den, waiting for Snowflake to come back in.

SpottedKit tried moving away from her brother. She rolled onto her back.

"Thank you all of you" she meowed pleased with the praise. Even though she sounded please she wondered if her kits would survive leaf-bare.

"Me neither." He purred softly. "They'll be the strongest kits ever." He nuzzled snowstar's stomach.

She shrinks back a little."Yeah."
Snowflake
She walks to her den and sees Riverdusk."Riverdusk!" She purrs.

She motioned for the cats to leave, and allow her kits to be left alone.

SpottedKit moved closer to her mother, and started to suckle hungrily.

"I have something to ask you..." He started, "But I will completely understand if you say no..." He sat there nervously, looking at the ground.

"I know you're the medicine cat and all, but I want to spend the rest of my life with you...." He replied. "Will you be my mate, even if we have to stay a secret?"
