Flameclaw hissed, "I told you, you can't com on to our territory! Even just to nap! And I gave you the option of talking to Scorchstar and then getting chased away!" He pointed out angrily, This she cat is getting on my nerves! he thought to himself. "Flowertail, we're not going to let them stay on clan territory are we?" Silently ha added, The she cat is a fox heart and the tom is, well yes ok but why is he so calm?

Swallowpaw slid into camp, heading toward a more sheltered spot. She didn't want to be in the rain even if it was a nice break from yhe desert heat.

Flowertail knew her clanmate was right. These two couldn't stay. "Look, as much as I'd love to sit and chat we can't let you stay here without a purpose. Please, just leave now before this gets worse then it has to be."

He glanced at Swallowpaw,as he noticed
a rocky shelter.He padded towards it,where
it was nice and dry.He didn't want to go into
the apprentice's den quite yet,as he looked at
Swallowpaw.

Quailfea*ther smiled as Lilynose approached, the tip of her silver tail waving back and forth gently. "Hi, Lilynose," her mewed, amber eyes bright. "No, I don't think we have." The lithe she-cat knew very well that the other molly was a bit shy, and was interested in the possibility of finally getting to know her. You really do seem like a lovely cat. Quailfeather laughed lightly at the comment about the weather, grinning. "Well, it was a beautiful morning," she purred, glancing up at the cloudy, sprinkling sky. The silver and white molly's fur was fluffed up to keep the air's damp chill out. "Do you know if you'll be having to go out on a patrol? Don't tell anyone, but I'm pretty glad I get to stay in camp and at least have a chance of remaining mostly dry."

Troutsplash dipped his head to his leader, paws itching with electric excitement. "I will not allow such an incident to occur," he replied. He waited until Scorchstar had dismissed him and turned away before turning to Dovestrike, sea coloured eyes bright. "Scorchstar is actually trusting me with this," he murmured quietly, unable to help but feel a small spark of nervousness in his chest. He quickly dismissed it. He would be successful, and without bloodshed. The only question was- who to take? He knew from experience that Dovestrike would be level-headed enough to help him calm an out-of-hand situation. The thick-furred tom glanced around camp, nodding to himself when he spotted Russetstorm. The strong, experienced warrior could be a bit difficult to work with at times at times, but Troutsplash respected him and valued his opinions. And the last cat...? Troutsplash smiled as he noted Pricklenose, knowing immediately that the young cat would be a good choice. He's not as threatening as the three of us. Having him along might help make whoever this rouge is more compliant.
Having made his choices, Troutsplash approached the two cats, waving with his tail for Dovestrike to follow. He wasn't bothered by the cool desert rain falling from the sky. It reminds me of the forest. A fitting day to prove myself. "Russetstorm, Pricklenose," he greeted, dipping his head to the two warriors. "A rouge has been stealing prey from the fresh-kill pile, and Scorchstar has asked me to lead a patrol to find the cat and bring whoever it is back to camp. Will the two of you come with me?" He turned to Dovestrike before continuing, "And you? DesertClan needs its prey. We cannot allow a rouge to continue stealing from our camp."

Cactusfoot grunted appreciatively as Flarepaw laid two mice at his paws, and immediately tucked into them, ignoring the young molly's question. The old tom purred quietly as the two apprentices departed to fetch the mouse-bile and moss, unable to help but be amused at Flarepaws disdain for her task. He flicked an ear as they left, focused on his meal. "Mmhmm," Cactusfoot hummed in agreement to Noeyes words. He swallowed his mouthful of mouse before continuing, "Getting old does have its perks." He grinned at the unseeing elder, tail flopping back and forth. [It wasn't a graceful movement- more like a struggling fish caught ought of water than anything else.] He raised his head as he heard the patter of apprentice pawsteps approaching and called out, raspy voice taking on an edge of its usual irritation, "Did you two drown out there? We're not getting any younger!"

Pricklenose nodded to Troutsplash, his eyes narrowing. "I'll come, definitely." The Siberian cat didn't quite like rouges after what had gone on between one and his sister. He'd help. Especially now that there was more and more rouges appearing.

Swallowpaw sat down after shaking rain droplets out of her pelt. "Sorry." She murmured to Fallenpaw, who she's accidently showeder with droplets in the process.
