She sighs, rather bored, as her paws fly over the wet earth. She was tired of the rain, but she would continue to run anyways. Their had to be someone out here that she could talk to right...? She might have been a former Rouge, but that that was her old life. Now, she was simply looking for company.

"Yesss!" I was bouncing everywhere. I loved running. The wind in my fur. Everything shooting by and worries gone. I guess I liked to run to get away from worries.. and maybe it made me feel like I could fly.... I remember mother telling us a story.. of a flying cat. I know that cat isn't real.. but the main thing is obvious. You must believe. "Let's go then!" I giggled excitedly. I looked up to the stars wondering what she might think now. What does she think of me?

• • • I flicked my tail as I padded out of camp with my apprentice. Soon enough, the soft pebbles of the lake's coast appeared underfoot. I stopped my steady padding. I took a deep breath. The cool evening air rushed through my lungs. Still... Even so far away, even with a great expanse of fresh water between us... Still, the wolves' scent was there. Always there! Taunting us, threatening us, frightening us... Driving us straight to insanity... I pinned my ears back and let out a soft growl. I closed my eyes as fear run down my spine. What if we didn't make it? What if Gingerspots failed to lead us to the tunnel? It was a death trap out there! Eaglestar and Spadestar nearly died out there, and they were at the very edge of wolf territory!! Shivering, I unsheathed my claws in a fight against fear. They seem so near... Opening my eyes, I forced myself to think I was safe. And I was... For now, anyway. They couldn't get to the island! What was I so afraid of!? With a stifled sigh, I continued padding on after Stormpaw. Perking my ears, I listened to her as she ran.

I hissed at the smell of the wolves. However. I couldn't care any less! If they came near me ... No I won't let them come. Because I swear that.. i will tear them apart. I do no give a damn if they are savage beasts. Well for now. They are safe from me... because.. I am going running with Rivershade! Which is much cooler than being afraid. However, i could smell Rivershade's fear.. it was so strong. I wondered.. Poor him... I came over slowly "Hey Rivershade!?" i said softly whispering. "You ok?" ugh I sounded so weird! It wasn't my normal voice ofcourse and that voice just sounded weird.

Petalkit sat wordles, still in awe. Suddenly feeling the weight of sleepiness, she struggled to keep her eyes open. "Wow..." was all she could sleepily mutter to Lillyshade and Owlflight. She shook her head when she found herself nodding off into sleep.

• • • I smiled down at the kit. With a kind chuckle, I nuzzled her. Seeing her tiredness, I nudged Petalkit. "You seem tired..." I mewed softly into her ear. "Why don't you get some rest? I'll carry you to the nursery if you like!" I lovingly offered to carry the kit. Just another little thing to do. Another good deed to show that I care.

• • • I looked down at the kit's scent as she ran up to me. My heart thudded. The fear was still there. It probably always would be. I flicked my tail at her question. What's it to you? I thought, a bit irritated. Everyone, always trying to get into my business. Ugh... "I'm fine." I mewed flatly to my apprentice. I was a liar, a thief, a killer... And hoped, oh, I hoped I could hide it. Just hide it away from everyone.

Spadestar padded slowly, blood trickling from his shoulder where the wolf had attacked him. He gave a small glance toward Eaglestar, his eyes somewhat softening. "Do you have any deep wounds?" He asked, glancing toward the medicine cat den. The apprentice had already been taken there, and he had to admit that he needed to be treated to, but Eaglestar had fought harder than he, so she earned being treated before him.

"Huh?'' Petalkit looked up at the kind elder."Oh. No, its fine. I'm too big anyway." As good as being carried sounded right then, she was big enough to make it to the nursery on her own. Sleepily, she rose to her paws, and started trudging across camp. Turning around, she managed to stutter out a 'thank you' before continuing to march to her nest. She curled in her nest, and drifted off into a deep sleep....

Description; Brown fluffy tom with black mixed in. He also has a flat, owl like face.

Owlflight watched Petalkit march off to her little nest in the nursery. After the kit was out of earshot, He turned to Lillyshade. "Was I saying something wrong, by asking where the kit's mother is? Anyway where is her mother?" Owlflight had stayed quiet after the annoyed look he had gotten from the elder. He was a bit confused. And why hadn't the kit heard much about Starclan before now? All kits were taught by their mothers at an earlier age than this.
