Splashgaze padded quietly back to camp,looking around with caution as she slipped into the warriors den to rest. She could tell her brother wasn't in camp. Even more she could tell he was with SpottedRocks. She tried to be happy for him but it was kind of hard when she had her own situation to deal with. Why was she smiling? It was so odd.

Seedstar laughed quietly. "Don't worry. I wouldn't do such a thing. I can only hope that everyone has the coomon sense to stay calm. I'm still new to this and I don't need any fights yet," he mused sarcasticly as he broke his gaze with the water and looked at her with a worried-like expression.

Seedstar's throat tightened as he heard her words. Of course. He knew with all his heart what was bothering him. It constantly parraded in his thoughts like a pesky fly that wouldn't leave him alone. Love. He never knew one word could bother him that much. Every time he saw two mates sitting together he felt a strange feeling well up inside him. He didn't remember what it was but it made him feel angry almost. Why couldn't he have that too? Was this Starclan's way of telling him he would go without love until the day he lost his last life? Seedstar wanted so badly to respond and tell her what he was thinking. All of it. The only thing was...was that he didn't want to seem vulnerable. He had never once let any cat this close into what he was thinking and he knew that it could only cause problems. The words slipped from his mouth anyways. "I'm afraid...that well...I'll die without a family. That's the only bad thing about my job. I don't care about the sleepless nights or all the work,or even the weight of all the lives of my clan mates on my shoulders."
