Ash | Female | Mist/Ivy Hybrid-Mistwing Champion | 14 | Pan | Current Mistwing home | Tags; Eagle | Character Sheet: Pg. 4
Ash landed, tired, with the rest of the tribe. Her head hung with exhaustion as she followed her mother to their family sleep spot. Unclasping her bag she folded the straps together neatly, then she carefully removed her horn clasps and placed them gently in her satchel and curled around it. Only then, with her possessions tucked safely under one wing, did she drift off to sleep.
Ash found herself back at the festival, staring at the statue with her brother at her side. Taking a closer look at the carving she noticed some discrepancies. Instead of Lynx, it was Violet, a famous Mistwing guard, one that Ash did not admire as much. So this must be a dream. Taking a deep breath Ash willed herself into control. She had mastered the art of lucid dreaming at a young age and had since used it as a place to puzzle things out. She would take a problem or question and run simulation-like sequences while she slept. Multitasking.
Feather | Male | Ivy/Mist Hybrid-Ivywing Champion | 14 | Bi | Ivywing library | Tags; Birch | Character Sheet: Pg. 4
Feather led them both to the library, subconsciously making his way to the 'Legends and Myths' section. "So many lives have been lost over simple misunderstandings that no-one bothered to talk out, it's insane. Can you imagine how far dragons could have advanced by now if they just cooperated?" He began sliding a claw lightly across the books, pulling out one every now and then. "There have been instances where whole tribes have almost been wiped out just because someone didn't feel like explaining themselves." Once he had pulled out a sizable stack of books he brought them over to a raised platform and set them down. "We should start with these, they're the ones I remember having mentions of the odd events at the festival." Sitting down Feather pulled a book from the stack labeled 'Storm at Sunset' and flipped it open. "Just skim it, fully reading all of these would take days at least and we still need to go through the history books too."
Chrysocolla | Female | Cavewing Champion | 12 | Asexual/Panromantic | Cavewing tunnels | Tags; Echo | Character Sheet: Pg. 14
Chrysocolla realized she was being a bit intimidating and relaxed her gaze to a softer, friendlier one. "You may not know you hear them, but with each cut, you sculpt their stories into reality, and you share their stories with others. For that, they thank you." Closing her eye she dipped her head in appreciation, the shifting of her scales mage the crystals glitter and twinkle, as if in agreement. Then, without another word, she turned and continued on to her cave, and after a few moments, the same haunting melody as before could be heard reverberating through the tunnels once again. The glow from her scales faded gently away, leaving a sense of calm in their wake.
Aster | Male | Meadowwing Champion | 10 | Bi | Meadowwing home | Tags; Lichen | Character Sheet: Pg. 14
Aster continued smiling and his tail curled behind him. "Foxglove sounds like an amazing role model. Amaranth is mine. She worked so hard to keep her tribe safe." He cocked his head, his eye unfocused and he appeared to be thinking. Then his smile took over his face. "I bet we can both become like our role models if we try. Amaranth said 'If you have a goal, look that goal dead in the eyes... and surpass it.' So I'm gonna be even better than Amaranth, I'm gonna be Aster." His gaze was locked on the horizon as if imagining how far he could go, but when he paused his head tilted back down and his eyes locked with Lichen's. "So? How about it? Do you wanna surpass our goals with me?" There was a fire in his eyes that could motivate the dead to get up and train with him and a smile stretching his maw that could get them to sing while doing it.
