☞ASPENCLOUD shrugged off Nightwhisper's cold rejection, preferring to let her clearly aggressive disgust roll off his shoulders. Both he and Graymist were more than capable of retrieving a plentiful collection of prey, with or without the other she-cat. Glancing over at the small gray she-cat beside him, he simply shook his head to ease her guilt. "I wouldn't think too much into it. She's like that with everyone." Aspencloud felt a wry smile cross his lips. Watching his companion take off at a brisker pace, the black tom followed, his lanky legs easily keeping stride with her. Quietly, he noted her comments as she watched the cloud, opting to nod quietly rather than respond verbally. As they crested the hill, the warrior slowed and took in the view before them, cocking his head slightly as he watched the flow of the river. "Shall we?"

Ravenwing sat in the grass near the edge of camp, his tail tip flicking back and forth as he surveyed his surroundings. He had just gotten back from a hunting patrol and was considering grabbing something to eat and resting for a bit. Near the fresh-kill pile he noticed Echosong, who was just dropping off some of her own prey. With a small smile, Ravenwing stood up and padded towards the pretty she-cat. "Hey, good job on the hunt." He meowed, nodding towards the plump rabbit she had just put on the pile.

☞HAWKFROST turned towards Swiftstar, snapping to attention as she named him specifically. The large tom tried his best to hide his pride, only allowing himself a moment to puff out his chest before focusing in the task at hand. Ears pricked, he nodded to her request that he lead the patrol back out for their true purpose. The ginger warrior turned to the rest of the patrol, his muscles rippling beneath his flaming pelt. His smoldering green eyes ran over the remaining cats that would make up his patrol and he dipped his head to the cluster as a way to thank them for accepting his temporary role of leadership. "Brackenheart, Birchpaw, Lakepaw. Let's get a move on." Without another word, Hawkfrost turned on his back paws and started out at a brisk trot towards the border located in the forest of pines. They'd already wasted too much time as it was, and he didn't plan on wasting another second.

Jaysong sighed, "Be careful, please." He lowered his head to study the wound. "hmph.." The tom's eyes met the ground. "I guess you'll just have to lean on me and we'll walk to camp together." Jaysong knew that the she-cat would probably complain about having to do it, but it was better than risking the wound opening any farther. With a flick of the tail, the tom went to stand beside Brightsky. "Let's hurry and get you back to camp. If that wound gets infected, who knows what will happen."

Swiftstar narrowed her eyes. She was still a little unsure about the figure that stood before the patrol. Shaking her head she turned around. "Hawkfrost. Take the patrol and go on. We'll catch up." She nodded at the tom. "Smokepaw, Reedfeather, Roseflight, and I will stay here and figure out if this is really Fogtail." Swiftstar flicked her tail as she turned back to face Fogtail.

Silverpaw chuckled as she looked at Sparrowfall. Silvermist was right. She grinned mischievously. They would never let him live this one off. Silverpaw caught sight of Silvermist's expression, she noticed something strange about the she-cat. Not wanting to appear like she was staring, Silverpaw padded down the riverbank a little. She figured she could catch a couple fish while the two had their exchanges.[/list]

Upon hearing the familiar sound of water flowing, Graymist focused back on her task. She nodded at Aspencloud before frolicking closer to the riverbank. She noticed three figures down the river a little, "I wonder who they are?" The she-cat squinted her eyes. She was able to make out the shapes of Silverpaw and SIlvermist. It looked like a third cat was sitting in the water. Graymist giggled at the sight. Forcing herself to focus, she looked down into the clear blue water. It wouldn't be much longer before it started getting cold outside and the river could freeze. Suddenly, a long slim fish wriggled by. Graymist's paw darted into the water. She scooped the fish up and tossed it onto the ground beside her. "I got one!" She chirped, flicking the tip of her tail in a pleasant manner.

Though it is true Nightwhisper doesnt trust greymist due to her tribe-like past, that isnt the reason she left. She scent something foul like a fox, she slightly growled as she flicked her tail. The scent isnt too close to the camp, not yet but it's close. Her thought has been interrupted by whining her cold gaze turns towards Wolfkit a scowl began to form on her face, she walked over to the ignorant kit and hissed at her "stop being so ignorant" she hissed "do you not know the duties that a leader must be taking care of right now!? do you NOT see that she is busy dealing with an outsider? Stop acting like a needy kittypet and wait." she took a sharp breathe and walked away "if youre gonna be a warrior of airclan then act like one"
