Jeff crouched down, catching sight of Doestar. "You're a gonner now, Doestar!" Jeff lept out of the bushes, onto Doestar. "What! You aren't Doestar! But she's your friend... And i'll kill you so she looses a friend!"Jeff lashed out a paw at her neck, but Doestar screeched,Charging infront of the way. Doestar whipped around, and bit down on Jeff's spine. Jeff yowled and slashed wildly. There was a slicing noise, and they both fell, their eyes glazed.( The cat he attacked first was Dappleseed, who's expecting kits. Can she have her kits now? And plus when she does say "Cut to black")

"Jeff..." He cried. He sobbed and mourned his friends death. Suddenly realizing the cats surrounding him, he grabbed his friends limp body, and fled. (As fast as he could considering he was a rather plump kitty pet and he was also carrying another cat.

He whirled around. "Wha-" he was cut off as Jeff hissed and leapt towards DoeStar. He watched the two battle. Then he noticed his leader fall limp and his eyes glaze over. "DoeStar!" He exclaimed. "DoeStar! Quick, someone get the medicine cat! Maybe she can survive..." He trailed off. No! He didn't want to believe it. His leader was dead...

As Jeff landed on her she had the wind knocked out of her and passed out. (Kittypets are kinda overweight so this makes sense.) The last thing she noticed before passing out was the weight being lifted off of her and her leader and another cat snarling...

When they arrived back in camp they were shocked by what they saw. "DoeStar?" Was all HollyPelt could say before collapsing. Her injuries from her previous battle with the leader, now needing serious attention.

She raced after the apprentice into the clearing. "DoeStar?" She meowed in alarm. " What happened? Are you alright? What are your injuries? Are they serious? Who did this to you?" She could barely make out her last sentence without crying. She had a sinking feeling that she knew who. The very same cat who had sliced open her leg earlier that day.

"DoeStar... No...." He touched his nose to his leader's flank, which was now cold. He lay next to her lifeless body. "I promise in vengeance of you I will never allow myself to see a kittypet in our clan again!" He spat. He was now very angry. "FoxPaw! There's no use in trying to get FernPaw... She's gone..." He suddenly realized that he had to now be the leader. "Oh, DoeStar..." He buried his nose in her fur. "Please guide me and help me to make the right choices as this clans new leader."

Doestar's eyes fluttered open and she looked at Fernpaw. "Fernpaw... I am going to Starclan with my family... Tell... Thistleclaw... He has to go to... The... Moonpool to... Get his nine l-l-l-lives... H-h-h-he's T-t-thistleSTAR n-n-now..."Doestar went limp

When he arrived back at twoleg place he gently laid down Jeff's now stiff and lifeless body, while he himself began to mourn his death. "It's all my fault. If I wasn't such a coward-" He was cut off as a two leg came outside, grabbed him by the scruff of the neck, and whisked him inside.

"DappleSeed, have you thought of names for them?" She asked the queen. Noticing her since she helped splint her leg with some cobwebs and a stick. When ThistleClaw came up to her she let DappleSeed know it would be ok, she would only be gone for one day. She followed behind her new leader.

You must be brave without me..." Doestar took a pace back into the group of cats (nine lives ceremony coming up next, I have to go to school)
