"Pretty name you have. It's unique as well." Eaglepaw complemented before he sat upright and started to groom Romano's fur up. "I have to agree with the bastard. That's a really pretty name." Romano replied pushing Eaglepaw away slightly.

The other day at dinner, we were having leftovers and my sister wanted to pour syrup over her whipped cream covered waffles. And I told her not to be Canadian. And my parents had no idea what I was talking about >.<

Rockfoot twined her tail around Aberbreeze, partially for stability, partially for comfort. She only untwined it when they had to cross the river. Rockfoot hopped over the stepping stones, breathing in the air here. It was still smoggy, but much better than it was in the heat of the burst. "Is everyone alright?" She asked. It was then that she realized that Midnightpaw was over here. She was still angry at him, but she didn't want him to die! She glanced around for the dark pelted tom.

Ayla

"R-really?" she asked surprised. "Thank you!" she said then laughed a bit. She smiled and said, "My mother had named me that, and I had always liked the name, but I never knew how she thought of it," her smile faded a bit as she spoke about her mother.

Midnightpaw

Midnightpaw was sitting by himself off to the side. the ground around him had been cleared of ash,and he was eating a large mouse by himself. When the cats arrived he looked slightly relieved to see that Emeraldblaze hadn't died, then continued eating his mouse. 'I caught this myself, so this is mine' he thought, 'it was lucky to get one at a time like this and I will not waste it by sharing.'

Amberbreeze

Once they crossed the river Amberbreeze, looked at Rockfoot in a worried way. "Are you sure you are okay?" he asked her quietly. He was coughing and his eyes watered from the smoke but he acted as if it didn't bother him.

Emeraldblaze

"I'm fine!" Emeraldblaze called over to Amberbreeze with a slight attitude, and he ignored it. She knew he wasn't talking to her but she said it anyway. She took the nest Amberbreeze was in earlier and sit in it. She cleaned her eyes and ears of ash the best she could, with an annoyed expression on her face. 'He doesn't even care..'she thought.

Announcement

The Burst Is Coming To An End


The volcano has stopped, but there is still lots of ash in the air. Water is temporarily contaminated. It is still unsafe to go outside, as large amounts of ash is still settling from the sky, and it will be for at least a half hour before cats could safely go outside. Water will be safe after a day or two.

Time Of Day - Midday

Weather - The clear air was filled with settling ash.

Romano padded over to the she cat and laid down in front of her. Gently placing a paw on her cheek he purred, "Well your mother must have had a good reason to give such a beautiful name to a beautiful girl. Also a frown doesn't for your gorgeous face. A smile is way better." He gave her a bright smile. It had been forever since he had truly smiled because Romano had forgotten what it felt like. The male then turned around to face Eaglepaw who was fixing and holes that we're starting to form. They were small and would not cause any damage.

Rockfoot nodded to Amberbreeze. "I think I'm fine. Just a few coughs here and there. But will you be okay?" She nuzzled her mate. "You shouldn't have followed me. Especially not after...passing out." She said, for loss of a better word. She gave a small smile.

Silverpaw heard the rumbling cease. She felt the grumble of the ground slow to a halt. The air still smelled smoky, but the burst was over. She padded over to Blazehawk. "I think it just ended." She pointed out. "But I don't think we should remove the blockade until nightfall, unless one of the cats who went out needs to get back in." She sniffed the air.

Ayla

Ayla smiled hearing the compliment, "Thank you!" she laughed a little once again. "You are pretty good looking yourself!" she said before he had turned around to see Eaglepaw. She was unsure of what their relationship was and it confused her a little.

Amberbreeze And Emeraldblaze

Amberbreeze nuzzled Rockfoot in return. "I'm okay as long as you are," he said. "I followed you just in case you would need help. I don't want anything to happen to ever happen to you." Emeraldblaze walked past them and hissed "Eww!" , in a joking, mocking, and immature way. It was purely to annoy Amberbreeze. He flinched away from Rockfoot when she said it. To make him even more uncomfortable Emeraldblaze said, "I can't believe you don't have kits yet!" and smirked even though in her mind she was thinking, 'Maybe then there would be a chance I could have kin that actually cares that I am alive still?' Amberbreeze glared at her and shuffled away awkwardly looking embarrassed.

Midnightpaw

Midnightpaw just watched the clan cats, and glared at Emeraldblaze when she spoke. She annoyed him more than most, just because of the way she was so happy to be in the clan. It almost disgusted him that a cat would want to be in the clan.

The male turned his head back around to face the female giving her a brighter smile. "Thank you miss Ayla." Romano purred back giving a wink at the she cat. He glanced back over at Eaglepaw who was now just rolling around. "You know, he can be full of mysterious.... And stupidity." He whispered to Ayla.
