Swanflight's whiskers twitched in amusement at the young apprentice. As stubborn as he would, she had to admit the small tom had a streak of bravery to him. "I see no reason why not to follow your scent, it's the only logical and fast way to find them and run them out." She explained to Emberpaw, trying her best to make him see reason.

She turned to face the west and began to follow the scent trail Emberpaw left. That tom better watch his tongue, or he will do nothing but sit in camp for a moon! she thought to herself, chucking at the thought of Emberpaw confined to camp like a kit.

She hissed and ran after his scent, finally approaching both Emberpaw and the cats on patrol. "You foolish apprentice! You're never to go alone, what would've happened if those fox cubs weren't alone!" She padded back and forth angry, looking for ways to give him a punishment. "Lead them to where you found them, how would you think Cinderstar would react to they you've been acting. Not only that, you have disrespected me. How could some cat respect you as a warrior if you disrespect those above you." Dawnfire meowed, her tail flicking with anger and annoyance.
