Embarrassment burned at his pelt, causing him to hurriedly avert his gaze. "I'm Harumi." he answered quickly. "I've been looking for my brother, Kamuy, for the past five moons." He had no idea what to say next. Truthfully, it really seemed as if he were the one invading Fang's territory, and that made his limbs go numb. As a result, he sat down with a heavy thump, raising his eyes timidly to the other tom's once more. He wasn't too bad to look at, actually, despite the situation he'd created for himself. "Uh.. your eyes are pretty?" Oh, stupid, you've done it now. What tom wants to hear that from a trespasser?

Lightningpaw was deep in thought yet again. "Um..roll out of there grip and from under them?,"he asked.

Fang

Fang raised an eyebrow, not knowing what had brought that on and let out a small chuckle. Harumi. Doesn't sound like a clan-kitty name. So he's not a major threat. But I still need to see why hes brothers here. He be out his gaze back down to the timid tom. Resting his tail on his shoulder he smiled. "Calm. Your not an enemy of mine that I know of. Now why doyou tthink your brother would be here?"

Cedarclaw pounced on Lighteningpaw's shoulders taking him by surprise, "can you roll out from under me?" Cedarclaw was much heavier than Lighteningpaw.

Relaxing bit by bit, he scuffled his paws against the dirt, trying to formulate an acceptable answer. "Well, y'see, he sort of disappeared. He was supposed to be out on a hunting run and he ended up not coming back. I don't know if he was taken or what, but I have to at least see him again." Looking glum, he emitted a quiet sigh. "I don't think he's here, though, but in case he decides to turn up I've settled on staying here for a bit. This was the area we grew up in, after all."

Lightningpaw's legs started to buckle as Cedarclaw leaped on his shoulders. He focused and tilted, thrusting all of Cedarclaw's weight to one side and shook to try and throw him off.

Fang felt bad for the sleek tomcat. At least he knew what happened to his family. Killed by a clan-kitty. Known as Fierceclaw. Just the thought of the cat made his claws slide out of there sheathes. He decided he'd help the tomcat, take him under his wing one might say. "That's horrible. Since it seems like you seem you could find your brother. You can stay here, but I'd prefer if you stayed in my den, so i could keep an eye on you."

Cedarclaw was taken off guard by how strong Lighteningpaw was but he stuck to his back. "Try something else." Cedarclaw wanted Lighteningpaw to figure out what to do on his own.

Lightningpaw's growled and reared up on his back legs, and rammed into a nearby tree, loosening the toms grip.

"O-okay.." He definitely wasn't in any position to decline, anyhow. Plus this cat so generously offered to help him find his brother. Even if it meant picking up from his own den, which, by the way, actually was getting a bit uncomfortable anyhow, he would surely do it in exchange for another set of paws. Besides, Fang seemed okay so far. "Wait, what do you mean by keeping an eye on me?"

Cedarclaw lost his grip on Lighteningpaw, and it caused him to loose his balance. Cedarclaw couldn't right himself and fell on his back.
