Seeing as the other cats were taking care of the borders, Shadowstar padded off, tail whisking as she scented the air. The moor hardly ever held anything like mice and squirrels, so rabbits were what usually inhabited ever crevice.

She kept walking not realizing she was headed straight for the patrol. "Today's a beautiful day." She meowed and enjoyed the sound of the chirping birds and the scurrying mice. They relaxed her.

ic: Moonfur sighed. "Blackpaw, wait for us!" she and Scarletpaw raced after Barktail, Blackpaw and Jayfrost.

Flamepaw nodded. "Yeah, I'm starving. Where's the best place to find rabbits and hares? It seems we've no luck here," he laughed.

Dappleleaf padded around camp then made a start on her den. "I'll get Blackpaw to help me when she get's beck from the patrol." she whispered to herself happily.

Shadestar lay down in the cool shade of his den. He watched a crow land and take flight again before jumping up and taking a mouse from the fresh-kill hole.
