She shook her head. "No, you'll sleep in the warriors den. I'm sure there is a nest in there for you. " She smiled. Her eyes traveled down to her paws. "No, it's fine I wasn't in trouble." She smiled.

Asp nodded. "Thank you, so much. And, ah..." The large tom coughed, opening his mouth to say something, but thinking better of it and closing it. "Yes, where is the "warriors' den"?" He asked.

She chuckled lightly and stood up looking at the tom remembering he had hit his muzzle on the roof of Snowstar's den. "Does your muzzle hurt?" She asked her naturual eye for injury spotting slight swelling.

Asp laughed nervously. You can't like he! How can you love her? You've just met her! And she's a medicine cat...whatever that means...anyway, you just can't! He scolded himself. "Ah, yes. It's throbbing." The giant tan and white tom confessed.

She looked up at the Tom her heart racing, soon looking down to her chest fur. What is wrong with me?! She questioned herself then looked at Asp again. "Well I can tak care of that! Follow me" She said letting out a small purr. Crestleaf walked towards her den her natural scent of Lilac and thyme wafting off her pelt. She entered her den and sifte through her herbs.You can't like another cat. You promised Snowstar. But.... No! I can't love another cat...

Asp nodded and followed, for the first time noticing the inciting and beautiful scent of herbs on the small she-cat's pelt. Stop, fog-brain! You can't! You've only just joined this Clan! Just stop! You can do it if you try hard enough. He got on his belly, shimmying through the entrance before getting up to brush the dirt out of his fur. Again, he slammed his head on the top of the den. The large tom let out a large hiss, flexing his claws.

She heard him shimmy in and shifter her head seeing him hit his muzzle again. She chuckled lightly and looked at him. "Maybe we'll have to raise the dens." She said jokingly and then rummaged through her well organized herbs and pulled out Golden rod and chewing it up. Crestleaf scraped the wax off another leaf and mixed the two , soon getting onto her forepaws to reach the males muzzle spreading the ointment onto his pelt. "There" She purredm

Asp let out a deep, throaty purr. The throbbing was starting to go away, and the swelling was going down. "Thanks. And, ah, why can't a medicine cat have a mate?" He paused for a few seconds, before quickly adding, "Oh! Ah, not like I want to be your mate or anything, hehe, but, uh, yeah, Snowstar said..." He decided to shut his muzzle before he said anything worse.

She felt her pelt get a little hot at his ccomment. "W-well..Its because we have a very important role. If we were to get a mate, and have kits we would be off duty for a while and an apprentice can't take on all that work." Crestleaf meowed softly.
