DreamRunner let go out the foxes leg, feeling it wriggle under his bite. He watched the fox run off into the forest, then hurried over to SandStrike and TornStar.

TornStar weakly, slowly got herself into a crouching position, her back and neck ached and bled. Her paws were sore from attacking the fox, and her head was still spinning from the blow she just took. She looked up at SandStrike, nodding slowly. "F-fine." She mumbled, trying to ignore the pain she was in.

He stares at the sky blankly and rushes to the den where Flintpaw is in and cleans her up. The tom returns to Littleflower and sadly looks at her. The medicine cat laid down for his vigil.

Sandstrike nodded, shaking off the fact that he knew she wasn't okay. Nudging her taller to her feet, the tabby Tom mewed, "We need to get you to Ottertail."

||Sorry I've been so inactive. Thanksgiving, huge family..eh I've been REALLY busy o.e||

TotnStar huffed a bit, leaning on SandStrike gently got support. She tried putting pressure on her hind leg, which had been badly bitten by the fox, that on resulted it a rocket of pain shooting up her body, making the small leader cry out. Tears of pain threatened to leak out of her now dull, yellow eyes.

OtterTail looked around and shook his head, the clan has dealt with foxes before and it's never been this bad. He growled to himself and headed out if camp to treat the wounds if those who couldn't move.

[Okei! I am back! I will try to be as active as I can! And also @Change it Up:: I scanned through the pages after I posted my form, and a post you made said that Thornheart isn't Raggedpaw's mentor {because his current died, I think that's happening now} but on the front page it says he is his mentor. I'm going to try to jump in as smoothly as possible. Thornheart is taking his daughter out hunting!]


Thornheart leapt on a crow, swiftly biting its neck. "What else do you smell?" Thornheart turned to his daughter, flicking his right ear and what was left of the left ear. "You aren't my mentor. Dreamrunner has that covered pretty well." Darkpaw said quietly, waving her tail in annoyance. Thornheart sighed a bit sadly, remembering just how much Darkpaw was like her mother. "Darkpa-" Thornheart's gentle meow was interrupted by a cry of grief and muffled fighting noises. Thornheart immediately ran toward the sounds. Darkpaw, shocked, quickly ran after him, but could not keep up. Thornheart saw Dreamrunner pinning down a Fox, and Sandstrike giving a wounded Tornstar support. He whirled around to Darkpaw. "Get Ottertail." Darkpaw nodded and ran toward camp.

Thornheart walked up to Tornstar. "What happened?" Thornheart looked around.

Darkpaw almost knocked into Ottertail leaving the camp. "Tornstar is hurt! Bad!" Darkpaw gasped, looking slightly up at Ottertail.

Foxkit happily played by himself with a moss ball. "I'm gonna get you, you mouse brained badger!"

DreamRunner turned around quickly, hearing ThornHeart. His was still panting from the fight, even though the fox had run off somewhere by now. "A fox attacked TornStar and FlintPaw." He explained, looking back over at the wounded leader.

Thornheart heard Tornstar cry and looked at her in worry. "I sent Darkpaw to get Ottertail. And, also, you said... that... um..." Thornheart was thinking about Flintpaw, who was mentioned the attack, but nowhere to be seen. "Were there any deaths?"

Foxkit heard Darkpaw's voice near the entrance of the camp. Happily bounding toward Ottertail and Darkpaw, he mewed. "Darkpaw! Your back! Where's Thornheart?" Foxkit's voice faded as he smelled the scent as he was taught to be... What was it? It's a nasty smell, and it makes me feel bad and... afraid! That's the fear smell! What happened? Did silly Darkpaw get a thorn in her paw? I know those can be scary!

Darkpaw completely ignored her brother, waiting for Ottertail's response.

DreamRunner flattened his ears a bit and nodded slowly. "OtterTail and SmallPaw found LittleFlower's body." He meowed with a sigh.

Thornheart just stared at Dreamrunner, jaw open. He collapsed to a sitting position. So many deaths. First Doveclaw and now Littleflower. Littleflower was so kind. She didn't deserve this death. She should've lived a long, happy life. Thornheart stood up, determination in his eyes. "She died as a warrior. Bravery in her eyes and her clan in her heart. She was a true warrior of Eclipseclan." Thornheart paused, thinking of Doveclaw. She died bravely as well, but in a different way. She died by giving her clan a new warrior. A new hope. A new potential. Though Dreamrunner and Tornstar may have thought his cry was for Littleflower, Doveclaw was the she cat in his mind as he yowled, "I will show your bravery in battle, and even if I'm half as brave as you that's braver than any cat!!!"
