Lit Road, A Tracker Dog RP

"Nice to meet you, Tracker. I'm Celia." Celia answered, trying to set aside her sudden shyness.

Ananda turned a corner and Chanterelle's ears perked up as she noticed the tracker she had seen yesterday and a new one talking. "Hi Guys!" She barked passing Ananda and wandering over to them. Ananda stopped and nodded her head at (Sorry, blind spot, Avril what's your persons name?) "So whacha Talkin 'Bout?" Chanterelle smiled her long tongue lolling out onto the ground.

Nocturne and the humans arrived back at the police station where he was currently housed at around 1am, and after much berating and telling- off, most of which was completely lost on Nocturne who didn't see how he had done anything wrong, he was sent back to his Box to sleep.

This annoyed him. He knew that sleeping now would disrupt his routine as he usually tracked by night and slept by day. This was the purpose for which he had been designed, and sleeping from now until midday or so would mean he would have been awake for almost seven hours already when his shift started, and by the end this would seriously impede his ability to track.

The humans must know this. But if they didn't expect him to sleep they would have sent him out into the training ground or onto the grass. What were they doing?

And besides, Nocturne wasn't tired. He poked his nose between the bars of his Box and directed all his senses towards the window at the other end of the room. The station was on a main road and there were cars going by at all hours of the day and night, flashing silver between the streetlights. He heard them, the subtle changes between the sounds of the cars coming towards and the cars heading away, the occasional lorries and vans.

This was all the entertainment he got here. With a sigh, Nocturne settled down to wait till morning, when he would sleep.

But Nocturne still didn't see how comforting a small child who'd just fallen from a second- story window was wrong.

(Ananda, my person's name is Reicheru )

"Hey Chanterelle." Celia greeted the pup.
Reicheru looked at Ananda and gave her a slight smile in greeting, then turned her head away to watch the dogs.
"I was just talking to Tracker here." Celia answered, pointing with her muzzle to Tracker.

Hello there, Chanterelle. Nice to meet you! I have to admit, I've never met another tracker before, Tracker greeted. Reicheru, Ananda, and Jennifer stood off to the side, chuckling at the dogs. It was almost as if they were having a conversation!

((Ananda's your human's name, right? Or is it your trackers? ))

(Reicheru probably wouldn't be chuckling, since she's usually quiet around other humans. Please don't try to rp other people's characters like that.)

((Does it really matter? It's no big deal))

((Ya, it's just our characters should be played by us. And Ananda is usually too distracted to chuckle. Besides, my person is me, and I never chuckle.))
"You a tracker dog," she cocked her head and looked at him with her eyeless stare, "NAMED Tracker? Okay than," She smiled. "So what have you all been doing?" she crouched down and rested her head on her small paws. ((Again, are they really paws? don't paws have to have like real digits? (Phalanges! Dancing Phalanges!)< Sorry I'm a little distracted today)) She listened to the trackers talk. Heard the humans with their normal human noises. She was calm, and tired. Still so tired. Sleep would be nice. She shouldn't sleep here. But so sleepy. Slowly she drifted off in the lull of conversation.

(Well it's against the rules to rp anyone else's characters, so yes it matters. It's probably not a big deal, but it's better to follow the rules than get yourself kicked out. End of Argument.)

Reicheru began to doze off, but quickly opened her eyes. She had to keep track of the time instead of getting late for work.
"We're just talking." Celia answered the pup. She could tell young Chanterelle was getting sleepy.

Tracker laughed at the puppy. Yep I'm Tracker the tracker! he said loudly. He saw Chanterelle's eyelids flicker and guiltily started to whisper to Celia.
