Wincing, Larkstar watched Volepaw take a guard stance by the camp tunnel. He was a good apprentice. She had given him Nightfrost as a mentor, hoping they would both benefit. Nightfrost never thought he was good enough, but he was a good fighter. Volepaw was scared of everything. Nightfrost was good at pushing Volepaw to do better. The two did seem a bit stiff with each other though.

ᵛᵒˡᵉᵖᵃʷ Volepaw nodded at Nightfrost's suggestion. He walked quickly to the camp tunnel and sat. His ears perked up, he tasted the air. Nothing. Sitting very still, he listened as far as he could, scented as far as he could. Warriors were still out looking. If they hadn't found anything, how should he? Volepaw kept guarding though. It was the least he could do for Ebonypaw...and the Clan.

ˢᵗᵒʳᵐᶜˡᵒᵘᵈ Stormcloud smiled when Rainkit caught his tail. The little kit finally spoke, purring a greeting. "Good catch Rainkit. Only two more moons until you're an apprentice. Do you know what you want to train as?" He knew she would probably train as a warrior. There was already a medicine cat apprentice, and Rainkit had great hunting instincts. He wondered whom her mentor would be. Probably Embersong, since all of the other warriors had apprentices.

ᶤᵛʸᵖᵃʷIvypaw sat nearby, but far enough away that Ebonypaw could be alone with his mother. She knew how it felt not to have a mom. Her mother had post-natal depression, and never talked to anyone. Ivypaw didn't even know what her mother's voice sounded like. At least she had one though. Ebonypaw looked a little confused as he lay beside Warmheart. "We have to stay until tomorrow morning," she told him. It was strange how she always knew what he needed/wanted. They always knew each other's thoughts. Normally this made her laugh, but now she was sad to know how he felt.

Nightfrost lifted his head seeing a cat! In their territory! Nightfrost hissed and took of charging after the cat the fur on his back spiked. He leaped landing on the cat taking his chance just to kill another clan cat. he was angry that his plan failed so he was taking it out on this apprentice. Making sure the apprentice couldn't see his face he ripped down the cats back hissing. "On our territory you will die on our territory!" he yowled.

Awkwardly, Heronfeather twitches her whiskers. "I am well, thank you," she replies. She had never really had a full-on conversation with Cagelight before, so why did she think she has affections for him? Heronfeather resists the urge to shake her head in her own disapproval and confusion, instead choosing to sit down.

Featherpaw had gotten permission to go hunting by herself and had set off into the territory. She pawpads scraped against the cool dirt as she searched for a scent of prey. She was getting close to the border when she was a cat come barreling over the scent-markers chasing after a rabbit, which dove into the underbrush and disappeared. She watched silently, ready to spring onto the trespasser, but Nightfrost beat her to it. She slowly stepped out of the shadows, when she noticed Nightfrost had scored his claws across the small tom's back. " Nightfrost?! What in the name of Starclan are you doing ? " she demanded, her voice shaky as she glared in his direction.

Nightfrost stopped a little confused. "What do you mean? He was on our border I was just attacking him. " he said holding the Tom down but stopped hurting him. Nightfrost tilted his head. "Aren't you not supposed to be on the other cats border. When I was Duskclan a long time ago you weren't."

Cagelight gave a slight smile "That's good to hear." He said kindly he shifty his weight a little so he could sit comfortably. His black long tail swished once more before he wrapped it it around his paws. He looked to Heronfeather "So whats up?, I mean is there any thing interesting going on for you? if I my ask." She said kidly he didn't want to seem like he was prying. [/center][/size]

Cursepaw hissed and growled at this unknown cats violent attack. Cursepaw did the best he could to get out of this cats hold, and wiggled free. Cursepaw quickly moved a fox length away before turning back to both cats, Unleashing his claws. He kept calm and had a straight face, something he learned well from his uncle Cagelight. "Let me leave, I came here by mistake." He growled He knew he couldn't take on both cats, one being a warrior but if he can make it back to Duskclan territory he'd be safe. He wanted to avoid a fight but he would do it if needed.

Rainkit smiled "Thank you and I'd like to be a warrior of course, like my mom." she stopped purring but still smiled on "Perhaps maybe even one day I'd like to be Deputy like you, Stormcloud." She gave him a cocky grin. She liked the idea of being Deputy even if it was hard work it still seemed very interesting and there wouldn't be many dull moments.

Nightfrost nodded. "Very well. But thank this apprentice for your return home" he said flicking his tail telling the cat to move. Figuring he just did something wrong he ran after the prey caught It and threw it to the apprentice. "This is your clans not ours. Don't hunt so close to the border." he said turning around. "Did I fix it?" he didn't even realize he was asking an apprentice. If he was doing something right. He wondered if he did too much damage on the Duskclan cat. but didn't care at least his.... hmm... anger was out?

Featherpaw nodded lightly, still frightened by his sudden outburst of anger towards the apprentice. She sighed and looked back at the forest. She should continue hunting, but she didn't have the energy anymore.

Nightfrost turned around glaring at Featherpaw as he left knowing if she told Larkstar he could play the same, I didn't know card. He padded back to camp with no prey not in the mood and looked around, Who could be his ally? He wondered scanning the area. "Volepaw!" he yelled looking for his apprentice.
