Fadepaw sat up, licking moss and other bits of debris off his pelt. Panting he said, "Maybe a bit of hunting before we head back? I want to make sure that I am ready for my assessment, whenever that may be."

(Fadepaw is about 10 moons old, so about ready to have his final assessment, although he still has about a moon of training left)

Ripplestar leaped up the tree after he mate and sat perched on a branch just as the reddish-brown form of a todd (male) fox made its way into the clearing. Ripplestar hurtled herself out of the tree and squarely onto its shoulders ripping ferociously at the scruff and back of the fox.

Stormpelt jumped at the opportunity "yah! Fadepaw mind if I join you?!"

Redfur wandered around camp,looking for someone to talk to

Silverfeather grins. "Sure you two can hunt and I'll meet you back at camp." She whisked her tail around before leaving the training area and going back to camp.

Stormpelt turns to silverfeather "thank you!" Then she turns back to fadepaw " so where would you like to start?"

Fadepaw looked a little flustered "Umm, maybe near the twoleg border, no ones hunted there for a while." he felt oddly pleased as he trotted out of the training area with Stormfur. He didnt know why but for some reason, he felt comfortable being with her.

Ripplestar and Ravenclaw quickly drove the fox off, but Ripplestar had sustained a pretty serious injury to her right flank. She collapsed on the ground panting hard, but still conscious.


(Also, number of cats has changed from 3 to 5! 3 cats from 3 active players, does not make a clan.)

Stormpelt just followed fadepaw to where the twolegs lived "wow can you smell all of the mice and rabbit near here! Wow and so many squirrels!" She crouched down and pounced and caught a big mouse from under the leaves. "Wow this thing is big! We should have other hunters come here more often! Good Idea to come here fadepaw!" She walks over and touches her tail to his flank as she puts the mouse in a hole in a tree

Fadepaw looked up into Stormpelts beautiful purple eyes, but quickly looked away again. "Yeah, we should let Ripplestar know that this is a good hunting ground." He dropped into the hunters crouch and pounced on a thrush that had been stupid enough to flit down to the ground.

"I'll be fine. I just need to lay here for a second." Ripplestar meowed. "And dont sound so worried, I still have 7 lives you know." She said jokingly as she flicked Ravenclaws ear with her tail.
