Barleyfur saw the two cats.

"Hi, Barlyfur!" Cometstar meowed out.

"I know, right!" Dovestar meowed. "Birdfall was even offered to be deputy, but can you believe it? He turned it down!"

Marspaw's eyes widened. "Mouse-brain."

Barleyfur mewed a hello.

Moonblaze trotted steadily up the path to the clan.

Barleyfur saw Moonblaze bleeding. He knew the she-cat was difficult to get answers from, so he walked up to Cometstar. "Whathappened to her?" he asked, flicking his tail towards Moonblaze.

Moonblaze hissed and arched her back. "None of your business, mouse-brain!"

He leaned in close. "Well,we had an argument. But I got her back," he whispered.

Moonblaze hissed. "I hate this moment." she meowed."I'm going to go get some fresh-kill. Please do hesitate to come with me," she growled.

Barleyfur nodded. "She-cats. It's OK, though. Just leave her alone for a while, and she will be fine," he said, his amber eyes looked as if he was angry. He walked over to Moonblaze.

Moonblaze snarled, teeth bared. "Shut up and leave me alone!" she growled then lashed out at the tom.

Barleyfur stepped back. "I'm just here to treat you wounds!" he hissed.

Moonblaze nodded. "OK."

Barleyfur looked at the she-cat. "I will be right back with herbs."
