She though over his question. "Purposely baiting predators and such, though ones I could easily handle. Exploring areas that had not known facts about them. Stuff like that." She told him in response as he seemed pretty intrigued by what she had said before. "Lurking? Me? Never." She said teasingly though it was partially true.

Bear snorted a laugh at her comment. ''Alrighty then girl. Whatever you say..'' he replied. He shook his coat since the bugs were trying to settle on his back. He again eyed the forest, wanting to explore it already but didn't say anything. ''I must say, you're an awfully spunky mare. Now aren't you?'' he said a bit cheeky.

She laughed when he called her spunky. "Well if you put it that way, possibly." She said not giving him a straight answer to his question. Calista looked amused at the moment. "And I might say you are quite the talker." She smiled as she spoke her response. This stallion seemed to spark her interest, curiousity was starting to once again come back to the surface of her features.

''Perhaps. One does jump at the chance when they don't often'' he snorted and waded in to the water a little to take another drink. Bear raised his gaze again and snorted in a joyful way, the mare amused him. She seemed to be one that did or said things that were to be unexpected or surprising, and he liked that.

She watched him as he spoke and then as he waded into the water. She watched not far off and moved closer to the water before stomping a hoof down with enough force the water splashed her chest, it was slightly cold, causing her to take a quick intake of air before she looked at Bear almost sheepishly. Maybe a little too much force but the water could have easily splashed the stallion.

The stallion flicked his tail, craning his neck away from the mare when she splashed, although he was sure the water wouldn't get on him. His lids started to droop a little. He snorted softly before wading out of the water. Bear turned to face Calista, ''I'm a bit on the sleepy side. Plus I need to do more exploring afterwards, I'm going to go head off now. It was nice to meet you'' He nodded and bowed his head a little before continuing on his way back in to the forest.

She backed out of the water, her chest still slightly wet from the water before he spoke and then she soon responded. "It was also nice meeting you." She said before her gaze when to her reflection before she had also decided to maybe move somewhere else but she seemed not to really care for the time being and stayed where she was.

Bear tread along, now alone again. He glanced at the forest that had engulfed him, searching for a place to rest with no luck. The stallion snorted and settled for an untaken route, perhaps he could find an unknown resting shelter to use. The leaves crunched as they buckled under his weight, leaving behind an indented path in the brush. As he walked along his head bobbed involuntarily. As he travelled deeper in to the unexplored marsh, water seemed to seep up from the earth until he was splashing along causing an upspray of freshwater in his face.

He shook his head and kept walking, He lifted his head seeing Poetry standing with the mares,
He smiled as she trotted up to him and nuzzled her,

"Hey girl,"
He said grinning,
"Nothing much, i just got back from talking to a friend of mine."
He looked around her,

"What about you? You liking this place?"

Poetry nodded with a smile and looked around.
"Yeah, got myself a friend I think" she said and nuzzled his cheek loving.
"How about you? What have you been doing?"

He smiled down at her,
"That's great, i saw you over there with Fawn, she's nice."
He was happy that she was liking the herd,

He knew she had been a loner,
but ever since he had his new found affection for her,
He had hoped she would like the herd in case of her wanting to...stay..

"Oh...I just sorted something out with a friend of mine,"
He smiled at her,
Although his mind drifted to Vanity and her awkward confession to liking him.

"Just a silly misunderstanding."
He said,
"But i think i'm gonna head over to the pond, I'm in a bit of need of a bath."
He chuckled,
looking at the dried blood on his neck.

"You wanna come?"
He gave a playful smile
