Raccoonstrike shivered slightly, his eyes darting to the river at Desertbloom's words. His eyes widened slightly as he to saw the rushing swell of water. He cast a glance filled with worry towards the dark stormclouds. "Yes...it does." He murmured, ears flicking. "Maybe...maybe we should get to camp." He sniffed, feeling the icy coldness of each raindrop hitting his soaked pelt. He shook himself, gritting his teeth and ignoring the chill. He gazed upwards, over the treetops. A hazy black cloud above the canopy made him squint in confusion. He tilted his head, puzzled, until he saw the faint flickering of orange. Fire! He stared, pupils contracting with shock. "Is that fire?" He gasped out, his fur fluffing out.

She took more hasty steps back and whirled around and her eyes widened more, her fur standing on end. "We have to get back to camp!" she shouted, bolting towards where the rest of her Clanmates were, blinking the rain from her eyes. She listened closely to make sure Raccoonstrike was following.

Foxchaser looked into Moonshade's eyes, and what he saw there only cemented his determination to stay calm. "I'm not Sunp-Sunclaw, Moonshade." He meowed with the mereset suggestion of a laugh in his voice. "I don't get angry so easily like she does. I trust your decision. Undoubtedly you had good reason to keep this secret so long." He dipped his head slightly, surprised at himself with how grown-up he sounded.

Mistydawn opened her mouth to say something, but suddenly she began to fade and her words evaporated with the morning mist. She jolted awake, in the medicine den at camp. The throbbing was making her dizzy. She tried to sit up but failed and just flopped back over on her side, as the throbbing eventually faded away. She listened quietly as Foxchaser and Moonshade conversed, hating the feeling that she was eavesdropping on them.

The apprentice gently set his left paw down, making no dust rise. He took another and another. This took the utmost concentration, but he was doing it. And then, he sprinted forward. His eyes shut tight, and he jumped. The tree was probably okay, but as for the older apprentice- nobody knows. Sparrowpaw shook his head and sat down, panting a little. He had almost made the branch. Just paw lengths away. Then, a scent hit him. It was light and smoky, like fire.

The now puzzled apprentice made his way toward it and saw Flickerkit inside the fire. His jaw fell open at the sight, but he dared not call her name and distract her. Sparrowpaw sat just outside the fire, far enough away not to get burnt, waiting for the kit. It was the chivalrous thing to do- save a lady.

Tidalfront turned out of the nursery and trotted out of the camp. It was getting rather crowded inside there, and she'd done what she'd meant to do - see Applesong's kits. And that wasn't even because she was particularly interested. It was just to show her support for the growth of TimberClan and to make certain cats within the Clan happy. Perhaps a stroll around would serve her good to clear her thoughts. She began to pad into the forest when she saw a brush burst into flaming flecks of gold and orange.

The she-cat pricked her ears with interest, narrowing her eyes. What was this? Strangely enough, the she-cat felt almost no fear of the fire as she padded closer to see Sparrowpaw and Flickerkit. "What are you guys doing?" she meowed, rushing forward towards them. "Flickerkit, are you okay?"

She walked through the fire with a pretentious smirk, not realizing Sparrowpaw was near. She loved this- at least something obeyed her without question.

Moonshade looked up, her tears glittering against her eyes. She stared at Foxchaser, unable to understand how calm he sounded. His response was completely different from how Sunclaw reacted and the dark tabby just sat there. Then, she broke into a smile, though still crying a little, and covered his face was licks and nuzzles. "Thank you for understanding, Foxchaser. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you," she mumbled. Now she felt like she never wanted to let go of the young tom who'd once called her 'mother'. She pulled away for a second, but only faced him a whisker's length away and said in a low tone, "Don't you ever forget how much I love you and Sunclaw. I promised Morningdove to do everything for you and I'm still keep that promise."
Moonshade then slumped to the ground once more, exhaustion filling her injured body.
Then, all of a sudden, she only wanted to hold the both of them close to her. All day she'd been haunted by her old Stoneclan memories; now she just wanted to feel the warmth of her most cherished cats.
"Sunclaw!" she called softly, now laying down trying to catch her breath but pulled Foxchaser close to her, "Sunclaw, come in, darling. Please.."

The calico's fur bristled when she heard that a fire had started. "Mousedung!" She exclaimed, clearly not happy. Where was Spiderstar? She needed to talk to him, now.
Rushing towards his den, and paused at the entrance. "Spiderstar? This is urgent!" It was more than urgent.

F e a t h e r p a w
The blue-grey apprentice's eyes widened and she shot to her paws, tail lashing and a strange tugging in her chest. A fire? They might have to evacuate. She'd seen Duststorm bring in the injured form of Foxpaw, and then there was Moonshade, and all the kits.... Where can we go?
Shaking her thoughts away, she focused on the tugging in her chest. Something was calling her. Glancing around, Featherpaw shot towards the camp entrance and out into the forest.

Applesong continued to call for her kit, but she felt her words get lost in the rain. Not about to give up yet, Applesong went deeper into the forest to search. Not knowing she was taking herself even farther away from Flickerkit.
