Pumpkinmask’s heart flooded and drowned all
in one. I found this perfect..
perfect for me. I shook my
accomplice awake this time, with certainty
in my voice
. “What will it be this time?”
“I say Pumpkinmask.. the guards
have been trying to to protect her
for quite a while you know..”

My accomplice gave a huff and
smirked.
“She’s mine.”

I coldly stared and trodded off
waiting for my accomplice to kill
again. It was quite unfair really,
having them do all the fun
bits. Oh well.

I trodded out of the den
and walked into my own.
I slept in the moss, waiting
for a responce. At first the
cat walked into the wrong den
before coming into mine. They violently
shook me awake and licked their
lips. There would be bite marks
on the body for sure.

“We’re done for now.”


There was another message on the
body. “Your Life Is like an
arrow. It demands aim to land
true.” This message was written on
their back.

Six crows started to feast on
Pumpkinmask’s body.

Sparrowpaw seemed to wake up quite early. Perhaps it was because of Lightningheart's exile. He had voted someother cat before changing it. Was Lightningheart the actual killer? He found it undernerving. He got up to his paws, wondering if his mentor, Firefeather, was going to train him today. He'd do it for Starclan's sake. For Applepaw and Eelface. So he got up onto his paws, quickly licking and smoothing out his fur, containing bits of moss. After, he got up and padded into the clearing. Instead of seeking Firefeather, his tail dropped in shock. He saw a ton of crows feasting on something in the clearing. What in Starclan is this? He thought to himself, yowling loudly at the crows. Trying to get them to fly away from what ever they were eatting. At first, he thought it was fresh prey. Instead, he saw what seemed to be..."Pumpkinmask!" he screamed seeing the warrior limp into peices by the crows.

Mistfeather woke up and sprinted outside when she heard Sparrowpaw’s scream. I knew it, she thought. It wasn’t Lightningheart. But she had bigger maters on her mind than the fact that the clan had exiled an innocent cat. Like the fact that there was an apprentice and a half-eaten corpse in the middle of camp. Looking at the body, she saw that it was Punpkinmask. Mistfeather sat and yowled a lament to the murdered molly. “What have we done to deserve this, Starclan?” She cried.

Amberpaw jolted awake, leaping to her paws. Instinctively, ever since the past few days, she knew something horrible had happened. Rushing out of the den, she saw Sparrowpaw and Mistfeather already up, staring in horror at the sprawling body.

Pumpkinmask! Silverpaw jolted awake as Sparrowpaw’s yowl pierced through her sleep. Huh? I thought we exiled the mur- oh no... she realized, scrambling to her paws and racing out into the clearing. ”NO!” She yowled, lashing her tail. “NOT AGAIN!” she winced as she saw the horrid condition of poor Pumpkinmask’s body, she just couldn’t watch, not if she wasn’t going to throw up. Is Lightningheart innocent? she wondered, then finally came to a conclusion. yes. She is, and I helped exile her. Silverpaw felt the bile rising in her throat at that thought, but kept it in. It wasn’t just you... other cats helped. Plus, what if you were helping Lightningheart? What if she was next? then a purely sickening thought danced into her mind: What if I’m next?

Breezefire woke up, the scent of blood seething through her nostrils. She rose from her nest, cracking her bones slightly as the medicine cat ran outside to the camp, only to see the body of Pumpkinmask, the she-cats eyes- large and shocked, a pool of blood surrounding her. "Why is Starclan torturing us with these deaths?!" she screamed towards the sky.

Lionmask stares wide eyed at the scene. He had woken up to screams and cries. He knew something had happened. But nothing this severe. Poor Pumpkinmask! “StarClan why?!” He yowled to the sky.
