Hawkfeather nodded and headed towards the direction of the river. He smiled as they approached it. He turned his head to look at Fiercestrike. "So, first I'll demonstrate and then I'll explain how to do it." he stated. "Okay?"

Some of the hair on the back of her neck was raised and she had to force it to lay flat. ''I don't understand why the Darkforest is so determined to plot against us,'' the she-cat glanced around uneasily as she spoke. It was as if she thought they might be able to hear her that very second. Shadowheart's ears swiveled sideways as she waited to hear the she-cat's reply.

She nodded, agreeing with with the she-cat. "Also, I can't believe Sandclaw fell for her lies! What a mouse brain. Aren't all the toms like that?" she rolled her eyes. Sagestep shivered at the thought of Rosestar. She seemed so unwelcoming and cruel to her. The brown tabby had no idea why cats followed in her paw prints, they were obviously mouse brains as well as Sandclaw.

Hawkfeather
Hawkfeather nodded and sighed in awe at the beauty of the flowing river. He just hoped he would catch a fish as his demonstration. The tom didn't want to dissapointed Fiercestrike by doing it incorrectly. He padded up to the edge of the forest ground and made sure he wasn't too close. Hawkfeather leaned back a bit so that his shadow wouldn't fall on the river surface. Otherwise, it would scare the fish away. He moved his eyes back and forth between the surface and attempted to search for an easy target. Hawkfeather spotted a fish and unsheated his claws. He aimed down at it and luckily brought it up onto the forest ground. He bent down and killed it with a swift bite to the gill.

Her eyes widened, and she ran over to where Hawkfeather stood, "Wow, you did...really well!"
Fiercestrike pressed her body against the ground, her tail up in the air and going back and forth.
This was her hunting position, "How do you do that?"
