Flamepaw skidded into camp, pulling up some of the grass as he stopped. He was way too excited to show everyone what Frostpaw caught. "Who should we show first?" Flamepaw wiggled his tail, his ears twitching as he anxiously searched for a cat that wasn't busy.

"I don't know," mumbled Frostpaw with a mouthful of rabbit. She set it down for a moment. "Do we really have to show anyone?" I mean... It's just a rabbit," but it wasn't just a rabbit. She was very proud of it, but once again horribly nervous. She broke the rules to catch this, would anyone really be proud?

Flamepaw's eyes widened as he processed what Frostpaw had just said. Why wouldn't she wanna show everyone what she caught? "Why not? Maybe they'll even let you eat it all!" Flamepaw joked, trying to ease the slight tension. Flamepaw had just realized why she was so tense. He completely forget that they had snuck out of camp to catch the rabbit. "Oh man.. How can we show everyone what we caught, but not get in trouble?" Flamepaw frowned, standing at the entrance to the camp.

Frostpaw

Her tail flickered, and again she marveled at Flamepaw. He still wanted to show her prize to everyone, and that touched her. "Uhm.. Well, you know, we could... Just eat it. Together." She turned her head and pawed the ground, her face became hot.

(Edit: I also just realized we have 15 apprentices and only 13 warriors. And Cloudpaw still needs a new mentor since Whiteriver died. We might want to stop accepting apprentices..)

Flamepaw shrugged, his thoughts whirling around as he thought about what they should do. "Isn't that breaking the warrior code?" Flamepaw frowned, remembering that elders had to eat first before any cat. He would've loved to share the prey with Frostpaw, but he didn't know if it was the right thing to do. "Wait.. let's just say that we went out for a second, and we saw the rabbit run by!" Flamepaw grinned, waiting for Frostpaw's response. He hoped that she liked his idea.

Flamepaw was right, it would be breaking the warrior code. She held back a small sigh as she smiled at him. "That sounds like a great idea!" She exclaimed

Flamepaw grinned, holding his head high. He was proud of himself for thinking of an idea that Frostpaw liked. "And we're not entirely lying either! We'll just say we heard something outside and went to see what it was." Flamepaw puffed out his chest before walking towards Wildstar, flicking his tail for Frostpaw to follow. "Hi Wildstar! Look what Frostpaw caught!" Flamepaw purred proudly, flicking his ear towards the rabbit.

She followed him to Wildstar, tail high, and rabbit hanging loosely from her jaw.
