Antlegs shook her head slightly as she began to gather moss. Now that she had seen Diptail's more sociable side, it was almost strange to hear him speak to her in the same cold tone he used on every other WindClan warrior. She batted at a stray scrap of moss absentmindedly.

"Actually, I'm not sure," Mallowstep replied, looking around camp.

((Anyone else wanna come on a patrol with Mallowstep and Eaglefeather?))

As her claws raked the moss scraps with fury, she began to think clearly. Wait, aren't warriors out gathering moss right now already? She hissed with rage. My first day, already wasted. Well, now that my day is ruined, there's nothing much to do now....she thought and started to walk in a random direction. She hardly knew that she reached the end of her Clan boundaries until she stopped short, right at the border. Sitting on the other side was the juiciest rabbit she had ever seen.

Diptail grabbed his ball of moss and headed back towards the warrior's den, his old spot seemed to be a little crowded now so he went and found a secluded stop on the side and set his moss there.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to try.....Shadowpaw said as she tiptoed over the border and pounced on the rabbit. Even though she had the upper hand, the rabbit was bigger, and they squabbled on the ground. Soon she killed the rabbit and held it up in triumph with her fur matted and panting. Little did she know that she had the Rageclan scent all over both her and the rabbit. Shadowpaw bounded back to the camp, dragging the rabbit behind her.

Antlegs carried her moss back to the warriors den, not far behind Diptail. She looked at him longingly, not quite knowing how to express her feelings without being turned down. He looked like he wanted to be alone, and her brazen spirit shrunk down at the thought of talking to him about the turmoil of emotions churning in her belly. She placed her fresh bedding down and sighed, settling down and wondering if sleep was possible when in such a state of confusion.

Mallowstep spotted Shadowpaw coming into camp with a big rabbit, "Nice kill--" he started to congratulate her, thinking perhaps she could go on patrol with them, but as he parted his jaws to speak he detected a strange and sour stench. "What have you been doing, Shadowpaw?"

Diptail finished setting his bedding, he looked around and only saw Antlegs in the den. He walked over to where she laid her bedding and without a word he started to move it towards his.

Antlegs's bright red eyes gleamed at the friendly gesture and a slight purr rose from her chest. Before she could lose her courage again, she rasped her tongue over Diptail's ear affectionately and started to settle down next to him.

Diptail chuckled a little and whispered "You will ruin my reputation around here" he licked her cheek quickly before settling down himself.
