Gryffin smiled, "sunset, awesome." She stepped back as the Ember asked her and the woodpecker to leave, Gryfin sighed, "will do." She did a little salute with her wing and jumped clumsily off the branch, flying slowly back to her own hollow. Now I feel more awake, she thought as she landed on her branch, I can stay up to see the constellations. Gryffin pulled the cap off her telescope with her beak and took a peak through, the thick clouds were still floating about in the night sky but they were thinning slowly. She'd just have to wait a little longer, that's ok. She thought positively, I've got time.

Gryffin stepped away from her telescope as she heard the beating of fast wings outside, she peered lazily out of her hollow entrance, just in time to see a myna fly past quickly, screeching about something or other, wait ... Names? He wanted to know their names? What kind of bird flys about asking for everyone's names? "Can you stop with all the yelling," Gryffin asked wearily, "I'm tired ..." She blinked sleepily and then sighed, "my name is Gryffin, your's?" Gryffin thought that if she told the myna what he wanted to hear then he'd leave, but then again he may start a conversation, the owl rolled her eyes. She could never win.
