Windkit looked up at Stormkit and batted his ears gently. "Come on!" she mewed. "I think Whitesnow had her kits!"

Stormkit nodded. He and Windkit crept into the nursery. "Hello Whitesnow!" Windkit mewed cheerfully. Then she saw the kits in the nest with her and lowered her voice. "Are those your kits?" she breathed.

Silverpaw- He sat outside the nursery. He licked his paw and rubbed it over his face a few times

Leopardfur- She saw a band of about twenty cats. One was leading the rest. He was a silver tabby with black paws. She hissed and looked at Rosestar

"Yup,aren't they beautiful?" Whitesnow said.

Rosestar said in a hissed voice to the rouges "Come with me and Leopardfur, and don't run,you're in our territory and I know every inch. We will heal you and then take you to netral land." Rosestar nodded at Leopardfur to get behind them. "But first we'er gonna get a drink."

Windkit nodded enthusiacically. "Yes, they are," she mewed. "What are their names?"

Through his half-blind blue eyes, Stormkit faintly saw the mewling scraps of fur. "Congratulations, Whitesnow," he mewed quietly.

"Butterflykit and Goldenkit." "Soon they're eyes will open and you two can play with'em" Whitesnow said smiling.

Stormkit stood up straighter. "I'll be an apprentice by then, hopefully," he mewed. "But I can still play with them." Windkit nodded, agreeing with Stormkit. "But if Rosestar lets me be the medicine cat apprentice, I can take care of them when they get sick or injured," she mewed, hope shining in her eyes.
