"mouse was just waiting to be caught." his tail flicking irritably, briarclaw ran in front of her and scented the air. after a few moments, he settled underneath a tree. his eyes huge, he focused on a finch that flew down from a nearby tree. with no hesitation, briarclaw crept up on the bird and pounced. the bird flapped its wings in vain for but a moment before it became still.

Lightdawn looked at the other. She noticed nobody was talking. She looked at the others and decided to start up a conversation, why not? Of course we're doing a task but if we're in a group we need to communicate. " So, everything is good so far right? " she wasn't paying much attention and hoped the question didn't sound stupid. It would be a bit embarrassing if Lightdawn had to be honest. She looked at Darkfeather she believed she was the oldest here and by looking at it, she seemed like the leader of this patrol.

Morningleap looked at Lightdawn direction but he didn't answer her verbally, he just gave her a simple nod with his head, now if she knew his answer was up to the younger she-cat how to react, well he was not important and since it looked like the warrior was looking for Darkfeather approval or answer.
The ginger and white tom turned his head to see Duskmoon that was also marking, he wanted to interact with her or something but when he wanted to try his mind pulled him back, imagining many things that could go terribly wrong, it was worse due to the fact that other cats are near him.
But nothing was going to change if he stayed still and did nothing.
Gathering his courage he walked to the darker she-cat, to not disturb the patrol he decided to whisper ''Did you notice something strange?'', since the tom was avoiding her gaze it could easily look like he was talking to himself but he hoped that the warrior next to him knew that he was trying to talk.

She watched as the other she-cat was being taken away by Briarclaw, the tom was being so quiet that she didn't even notice him before Honeypelt started to talk to him 'My time at nursery is sure to worsen my senses' she thought herself sighing. She made a look around the camp, seeing the group is still there, then she noticed the elder, she stood up and walked to him "Good morning Snowyleaf" she meowed to him.

Narrowing his ears over to the two upcoming voices from the two siblings Acornpaw and Featherpaw, making his paws to cover his ears for all that giggling he could hear all the way to the warrior's den 'seriously, why the younger cats are always so loud in mornings?' he thought himself sighing.

Would it be more logical for it to be an Earthquake. . . ? Or stampede / herd. . . ? Etc. It can be anything, I'm not really creative enough though. It can also be anything that can spice things up.
