Dakota

Aww.. They would be reeeeeally cute together.. Dakota thought to herself. She had to try desperately not to say "
aawwww", as she didn't want to make things "weird" for them. A scent wafted through the air and caught Dakota's attention.
I smell... Rabbit. She stalked closer and closer to the scent and found the source. A small grey rabbit was happily munching on some clover.
Hmph. I feel kinda bad...
...
...NOT. She leapt at the small creature. Its ears perked, and it saw her at the last second. The tiny grey furball dashed in the other direction, back toward its den. There was a good 10 seconds where Dakota and the rabbit were just running. It was almost at its home, a tunnel in the dirt, and Dakota was meters away.
I'm not going to get it... Dakota thought, irritated.
Unless... Dakota didn't like using her powers. Not only was she inexperienced, as she had just recently discovered them, but she also didn't want to get caught and draw attention to herself. Then again, she hadn't eaten in
days now, and she lacked the energy to catch prey naturally, due to her lack of eating. She focused all her energy into a medium-sized boulder. She stared at the boulder, trying her hardest not to look back at the rabbit who was nearly there, and just focused on the boulder. It wiggled slightly in its place, and rolled slightly toward the hole. The rabbit didn't seem to notice this small of a movement, so Dakota focused more energy into the boulder. At this point, she had stopped running, focusing every last drop of energy in her into this boulder. The boulder rumbled, and made a full rotation toward the hole. The rabbit stopped in its tracks, shocked, and began to run the other way. By then, Dakota had already gotten meters closer to the rabbit. The poor thing began to dart to the left, terrified. Dakota was only a few feet away- the rabbit was fast, but Dakota was
faster. She got a lucky leap and stomped her left paw down onto it. It wriggled and squirmed in her grip. Dakota picked up the tiny rabbit in her jaws and shook it. She heard a tiny
snap, and everything was over for the tiny fluff. She collapsed, lying beside the tiny
(dead) rabbit, and breathed heavily. She sat for a few minutes, regaining her breath, and eventually found the strength to get up. She took the rabbit and finally returned to the others.
