Moth flattened her ears, looking back towards the direction. She was silent for a moment, debating her options. She moved forward, towards the bush and ducked under it, forcing herself through to the other side. She stopped, looking across the small distance between them. Her eyes stared at the dark tabby tom before flicking to the smaller ginger and white tom beside him. "Yeah..? I'm alone, but I see you aren't." She was surprised on how even her voice was, normally she would have just squeaked and ran but these cats seemed different from the ones she had met on her travel. Her ears were flattened uncomfortably though and she seemed ready to spring away if needed, but it what direction, she had no clue.

Raccoonheart aimed his gaze towards the voice. It sounded far too young to actually be a threat. He looked around the area he scented the she-cat. It appeared that she was telling the truth. There really didn't seem to be any rogues with her, but that brought up a question: "I hope it's fine that I ask, but what are you doing out here by yourself?" Raccoonheart questioned.

Rattooth grinned at the small kit then looked up at Speckledface. "Haha! I say much worse to the deputy myself, Speckledface. Twistedkit's words won't mean nothin' to Raccoonheart." Rattooth said, recalling all the times he and his brother joked around with each other. "I won't mind helping you build that pile up. Maybe we can get a more useful deputy once you get your pile taller than my brother?" Rattooth suggested, playfully.

Moth's gaze turned cold, a shadow casting over her eyes for a moment. She growled, her tail-tip flicking in the air behind her. She looked at Leafpaw almost questioningly, she was debating a lot of things today, wasn't she? Swallowing she forced herself to speak and meet Raccoonheart's gaze. "I've been travelling alone for a while now; my father told me to run, so I ran and I haven't seen him since." she decided to leave out her mother, the subject was a bit too touchy for her liking and she would prefer not to cry infront of these strangers.

Rosepaw stood up and grabbed a minnow from the diminishing fresh-kill pile. She brought it over to Speckledface. "Do you want this?" she offered it to the queen. "I see Rattooth is keeping Twistedkit busy and I thought you might be hungry."

SpeckledFace smiled softly, finishing up her minnow before looking at Rosepaw. “I sure do hope he grows up to be as mature as you.” She chuckled, beginning to lick her paws. “You were quite the kit, eh? Now That you’re an apprentice..” she trailed off, as if the word apprentice reminded her of someone. Her tail flicked as she remembered. Luckypaw! Now where did my oldest daughter go.... Her eyes flickered over the camp, but she didn’t see a grey striped coat of fur anywhere. “Did you see Luckypaw today?” She slowly asked Rosepaw.

Luckypaw bounded down the river happily, her paws touching the shallows and creating small splashes. The further she ran along the river, the further she got away from camp. Although her mind seemed to be on the opposite train of thought. I’ve always wanted to know how far this river stretches! she jumped onto a sturdy rock, surveying her surroundings, before squinting at the spot where the river disappeared behind several bushes.
