Featherpaw padded softly out of the apprentices' den and she glanced around, feeling somewhat as if she overslept. She looked around and found a covered spot to sit in. She quietly groomed the tangles out of her long, creamy white fur.

the cream she-cat crouches down and lashes out, pretending to be an enemy badger. "grr!" she laughs. the fighting reminding her of her own apprentice, wasppaw, and she decided she'd go and look for him to start training. "i'll play with you later, daisykit." she purrs, licking the she-cat between the ears, and trotting over to the apprentices' den.

He woke up with a sneeze, before shaking the clumps of moss and twigs out of his pelt, and leaving the den in search of MeadowFlight. He grabbed a mouse from the fresh kill pile and ate in silence. He sneezed twice, before meowing a hasty good morning to her as well. "Can you gather a dawn patrol?" He wheezed. Flicking his tail in acknowledgment, he turned around, and went to see where AcornPaw was. He himself was going to see her, since his cold seemed to be getting worse every day. He went to see the new kits. "Soon they will be good strong warriors!" He purred. "Those are wonderful-" he was cut off by another round of coughing, and hastily left the nursery. "I saw AcornPaw this morning, but she says I'm fine." He explained

Squeaking, the young kit rolled around, and cuddled close to her mother's side.

The young tom swept out of his den, annoyed by how he was awoken by the rain leaking into his den. He looked around for his mentor, MilkFeather. Maybe they could practice hovering today! "MilkFeather! What are we doing today?" He asked his mentor curiously.

she smiles. "hovering! it's an essential skill for any eagleclan cat." milkfeather arches her back, stretching out her paws. she had to be warm for the day of training they had ahead of them. "does that sound good?"

(We are going to time skip to the night for the gathering, ok? I will do likewise in the other two clans. Otherwise everyone will just keep going on forever, and we'll never reach the gathering.)

He waited until every cat had gathered. "Tonight is the gathering. I will be going, as well as MeadowFlight and the medicine cats of course, MoonCatcher, SorrelPaw, WaspPaw, FeatherPaw, MilkFeather, DarkEars, GoldClaw, and DuskFall will be coming as well." He announced to his clan before leaping down once more, and going to see CherryNose about his persistent cough.

He gave a jump of happiness, and immediately fell back down. He had crashed multiple times during hovering practice and his shoulder wasn't doing very well. Oh well. At least I can see WillowPaw! he thought excitedly.

ashenwing closed her eyes, pleased that darkears, her mate, and mooncatcher, her friend, were going, but hoping tigerpaw wouldn't be too disappointed that he wasn't. she let out a soft sigh, but then opened her almond-shaped amber eyes again and started licking her newest kits to try and distract her.

the tom shook his head slightly - it was barely noticeable - but it was just at if he was getting rid of a feather or somethin gthat had gotten stuck in his fur. in truth, he was shaking off the annoyance that had stung him like a bee when he heard that his apprentice, badgerpaw, would not be coming to the gathering with him. he gazed around for the black-and-white apprentice, worried that he might be angry that he was not going.

the ginger tabby spat in anger, how dare the leader not let him go to the gathering! It was certainly time for him to go, he was sure, after all, he thought, i'm much older than that wasp-paw or sorrelpaw - i'm probably older than any of the apprentices who are going! after the cloud of angry thoughts passed through his head, he stormed off to look for nightstrike.
