She whirled around and skidded down the hill. She kicked up many leaves, sticking to her fur. She bounded carelessly though the woods, turning and twisting until she reached camp. She kept her head down but glared vividly at Needlepaw. She padded into the medicine den. She slumped against the wall. "I'm mouse brained, I'm mouse brained... Why did I leave!? I'll never be a full med, Needlepaw would be better!" Tears streaked down her face. She wished that Nettlepool would come and comfort her but she knew that Nettle would scold her for getting mad and running off. She curled up in her small nest in the corner and thought. Well, Needle can take my spot since I'll probably get demoted or or....... She sighed. She was overreacting. Nettle would scold and comfort her which was bittersweet. She thought of saying sorry to Needlepaw and Silverblaze but then bit back her thought. Never, not ever, will I say sorry. She thought stubbornly.

(It is VERY annoying how you just bring up these major plot points like kit-birth and greencough - without mentioning it to anyone it seems - and having your character who ISN'T a medicine cat and hasn't trained to be one just grabbing herbs and giving them to cats who, and they should know better, just accept them without asking any questions! There is already a medicine cat apprentice.)

Greyclaw heard what silverblaze had said but he was mad at needlepaw. Did she not know better? He thought. He ran close to silverblaze to announce "Look kiddo i am your mentor untill silverblaze is ready again. why don't we go out hunting? that will make sure your warmed up and ready for battle training we will work on hunting next then bring the prey back to camp and then we might have some swimming practice."
