Teeth ripped at his ear as he continued shrieking. It seemed the fox was simply playing with him, knowing he wouldn't last half a second against its massive form. Soon it grew tired of its games and lunged in, ready to kill when a bloody ginger mound of fur leaped up from where it had been splayed against the ground. "Run!" Emberstorm yowled, hissing at the fox. Her horribly savaged body would easily be killed with the slightest of blows yet the fearless she-cat stood her ground. Flamekit, with tears in his eyes, ran away. He tripped over countless roots and rocks and branches, lost in his mad dash for safety that his mother had granted with her dying breath. It wasn't long before he crawled under a bush and curled into a tiny ball, exhausted beyond belief. "Momma..." he cried softly, covering his head with his paws.

Hazelcry leaped onto the branch before approaching the tree trunk and sliding down to the ground. As she jumped onto solid ground she lifted her head high and set her tail to the sky, twitching it in suspicion. The she-cat strolled forward, inhaling the scents of the forest at a slow pace.

Applepaw smiled happily. "Well then, how about you join us in battle training?" She offered kindly.

Wildflight nodded his approval before moving away so that Spottedpaw would simply slide off of him. It seemed like his apprentice might be ready to try his paw at actually catching something. He parted his jaws to taste the air in an attempt to pick up a prey scent but nothing seemed to be nearby. "Can you smell anything nearby?" He asked the younger tom anyways. Perhaps he would pick up something that Wildflight had missed.

Cloudgaze's ears angled towards the door as she listened to the muffled sounding voices coming in from outside. She couldn't make out what was being said but, for some reason, just hearing Thrushleap's voice provided her with some sense of comfort. Stripestar's voice on the other hand...Well she simply chose to focus on the other queen's voice.

Laurel slipped away from her family without trouble and even managed to get outside without her annoying brother following her. She simply wanted to be away from everyone for a while.
