Thunderkit looked up when Squirrelpaw came out if her den. He growled playfully and tried to sneak up on her.

Squirrelpaw saw Thunderkit but pretended not to notice the tom sneaking up on her. Flicking her tail, remained still, pretending not to notice the playful kit creeping up to her.

With a "rawr!" Thunderkit jumped onto Squirrelpaw's back, wrapping his forearms around her neck.

She jumped only slightly as Thunderkit pounced on her and wrapped himself around her ginger pelt. '' Oh help, Thunderstar's got me in his deadly grip'' Squirrelpaw mewed quietly, falling backwards carefully. Even though they were just playing, Squirrelpaw didn't want to hurt Thunderkit.

Thunderkit jumped off of her as she fell. He stood on top of her. "Thunderstar always wins!"

Firestorm's attention turned to the kit and his apprentice. He smirked, Squirrelpaw was good with the kits.

The ginger tabby nodded in agreement with ''thunderstar''. '' You always do, indeed.'' Squirrelpaw didn't even notice her mentor watching her until just now. Flicking her tail sheepishly, Squirrelpaw got up and turned to Thunderkit. '' How about you go and play with some of the others?'' She mewed quietly to the young tom before padding up to her mentor. '' Did you want me?''

Solis watched his brother climb the tree quietly, excitement sparking in his chest.He listened as the other started listing off his view and couldn't help but smile. They had been heading ever closer to the mountains and it seemed they had finally gotten close to them. And a lake! They could maybe fish there. They'd have to be careful in the exposure of the plains but it wouldn't be to bad if there was a forest on the other side. No sigh of two-legs was the best news though. Perhaps the two-legs never came this far out. "Sounds promising," he smiled at his brother before turning and heading in the direction his brother had scouted, "Come on. Let's see what we can find."

The she-cat carefully buried the mouse she had been eating before raising to her paws. She shook the dust off of herself quickly as she cast her gaze around for Ravenpaw. She spotted him a little ways across the clearing and immediately headed over. "Hey, Ravenpaw. You feel up for a border patrol today? We can train afterwards."

Nova smirked. It was nice to see his brother so excited about something. He flicked his tail and trotted after his brother.

Ravenpaw lifted his head. "Sure." He mewed.

Firestorm smiled. "Just watching." He mewed. "But we can go train if you would like."

Thunderkit frowned as Squirrelpaw left him. "But there aren't any other kits..." He sighed and padded back to his mother. He missed his brother, Bramblekit.

She watched as Thunderkit padded back to the nursery and sighed softly, turning her attention back to Firestorm, Squirrelpaw flicked her tail. '' Oh, Im not sure...Thunderkit seems a bit sad, is it okay if I do training at a later time?'' She asked.

Fallstorm looked down at the dead herbs. "Alright." He grumbled. "I'd assume we need both burdock root and leaves?" He asked while pushing all the collected herbs that were dead into a pile near the back of the den.

Heartclaw couldn't help but purr at her excitement. "Come on, then." He said and began to turn toward the entrance. "We'll be working on battling, today. Offense or defense? Your choice. Or hunting, if you'd rather do that."

Sunpaw settled down next to her brother. "Hi, Ravenpaw." She chirped. Though, she herself wasn't feeling at her best, she thought her brother looked worse, and wanted to cheer him up.

Wrath rested her head on her fluffy, black paws as she watched the DeathClan cats ponder in the clearing. It was empty; very empty.
