Flamepaw sat alone on the edge of the river. He didn't know where Birdpaw and Snowstar had gone, to camp maybe? He sighed and unsheathed his claws as he saw a mouse on the ground. He stalked it carefully, moving swifter than usual. He caught it and snapped it's neck. He smiled at the catch as normally he would miss on his first try. He picked up the catch and started walking back to camp.

Flamepaw walked into camp and set the mouse on the fresh-kill pile. I can catch something later. he thought as he walked away. Hopefully the next patrol I go on won't leave me. he thought as he walked over to Icetooth. "Can we go hunting? I tried going with Snowstar but that didn't go so well." He said.

Moondust walked over to Mousepaw. "You up for a border patrol?" He asked the apprentice with a faint smile. His jealousy had gone away. If Snowstar didn't notice me, why am I chasing her? She can be with him, I'll find someone else. he thought. Moondust had always moved on quickly. He didn't hold grudges often either.

"Sorry." Rowanfang apologized, finally looking up. He didn't know if he felt better or worse. "I hope we can be friends for now, though." Being friends didn't sound so bad to him, he didn't really even have any of those. Sure, cats he respected, but not really any friends.

Tulippaw rushed into camp and immediately spotted her mentor. "There you are, Quickfoot!" She meowed, her voice muffled by the goldenrod stuffed in her mouth which she almost dropped. "Hang on." She hurried to the medicine cat den to set down the herbs, then back into the clearing. "There."

Icetooth had recently calm down from a breakdown he had after trying to hunt for himself. He was laying down in his best in the warriors den. He looked over seeing Flamepaw padding over to him. "Really hunting with me? Pick some other cat I can't hunt to save my life."

"Hey there Tulippaw. So, why did you call me over?" Quickfoot purred seeing her apprentice pad over to her. She then groomer pelt quickly before standing up as she padded back over.

Mousepaw hadn't been feeling the best these days. All he's been doing it just staying in his best and the only time he came out was to get some food or listen to clan announcements. He looked over at Moondust and hissed, "Later, I'm busy right now."
