Patchfoot looked at the tom pleasingly, as soon as the tom asked how the herb collecting went. Her paws heaved and her eyes grew large with fear. She spoke softly in his ear, so only he could hear,"We couldn't collect the herbs... Instead i recieved an omen. Something bad is going to happen.. But I can't figure it out.. I have to wait to see if star clans shows me anymore...and please don't tell any other cat." Her heart started beating as she whispered every word into the tom's soft ears.

His fur prickled like thorns at her closeness, not use to she-cats being so close since his first mate. Her soft white and cream fur, the scent of tulips that lingered on her fur was fresh in his mind. "S- Er, Patchfoot please, I..." His mind wanders back on track, wisening up his sentence.
