Gibson sniffed the air and thought it smelled...interesting. He then tapped on Sylvester's shoulder. "What is it?" He growled. Gibson tried to talk, but only said, "Help.... Todd." He dropped his ears and pointed in the direction the weird smell was. Sylvester sniffed the air too and discovered that Gibson was right. His eyes widen and jumped up, "That's probably one of the cats that live here!" Gibson sighed and shook his head, knowing this isn't gonna end well.

Darkstar smiled as to see his former apprentice. "Hello Darkstar. So, you sounded unsure about Silverstripe being deputy. I can tell and don't deny it. I saw the look in your eye." She meowed. He sighed. "A little. I really wanted Tigerleaf to do it... He is loyal and has that kind of leadership, but I also can tell Silverstripe has a little... I know she can do it." The leader said, matter-of-fact like. "Ok. I just came to tell you that. You picked the right choice cause she's devoted and loyal. Strong also." Deerstep smiled and nodded. Then padded out, leaving the dark furred leader alone.

[Daytime-Despair]

Silverstripe scented the air. Kittypets. After a few seconds sje spotted them. Silverstripe kept hidden in the bushes, ready to pounce.

Sylvester smirked and padded on, leaving the shaking Gibson behind. About two more steps, the gray Tom comes running to his friend. He grabs his friend's tail and pulls hard, only grabbing fur in his mouth. He spat it out and pounced on top, giving him the language of "Stop." Then Gibson gave in, "Todd..." He squeaked.

He usually likes to be around cats, and not left out, but every now and then he wants to be alone, and he hopes that the cats respect that.

"Snowkit, wake up!" cried the little Fishkit. "Arghh.. Fishkit.. let me sleep!" he hissed. "Fine," he heard his sister say and walk away. He felt his mother's warmth leave his fur. "Mum, where are you going?" he cried. "To find Fishkit." Moondawn replied. "Oh, alright." he said softly. He curled back into his little ball and went to sleep.

The next thing he heard was the leader's voice coming from the den. He woke up and followed her. When he got out of the nursery, he stopped dead in his tracks. In front of him lied Moondawn and Fishkit. "Mum! Sis!" he shrieked. "Wake up!" But they didn't budge. He nudged them, but they still didn't move. "I'm so sorry.. Snowkit.." the leader said. Snowkit walked over to his mother and sister. He lied down in the middle of them, and felt the last seconds of their warmth.

Snowpelt never had a father. He died before he was born. For the rest of his life, he became one of the loyalest cats in the Clan, since he later learned that his mum and sis gave their lives to protect the Clan.
