Hiddenclan ~Warrior cat RP, Open and Accepting~

((Not much has happened. Everyone's heading out to start doing things like hunting and patroling. Hiddenclan got a leader - Maplestar - who's mentally unstable. I think that's about it. You can probably jump in anywhere.))

Maplestar pondered this question for a moment, pausing as she did. The forest was usually full of life, but she sent the patrol there yesterday and the prey there was likely still a bit scattered. It was best to give each hunting spot a few days rest before sending the clan out again. "The meadow." She decided. "We haven't been there in weeks. Something about a nasty badger keeping everyone away." Starclan had informed her of this weeks ago, but Maplestar had, by this point, become convinced that it was her deputy that had told her this. She'd been keeping the clan away ever since as a precaution. "Should be safe enough now. Come on."

Hawktalon smiled, "Yes, its far away from camp and quiet there, should be lots of prey" he mewed. His mind raced with thoughts of if this was the time. A voice whispered in his head ~Be patient~. He growled and shook his head. He stalked out of camp and began towards the meadow.

Feeling considerably more cheerful than she'd been that morning, Maplestar got a bit of a spring in her step as she and Hawktalon descended down the winding forest pathways towards the lush, dense meadows. "Just remember," She said as she sprung over a rock and landed lightly on her feet into the grass, "if we do see a badger, don't try to fight it unless you absolutely have too. We'll try escaping first and shaking him off. I'd hate to lose you. Or me. No no, that wouldn't do at all." She started muttering to herself again, but stopped as soon as they reached the quiet valley meadow. "Mkay Hawktalon, you lead the way, go on."

Blindsong made it back to camp a few hours after he'd left empty-handed. He sighed tiredly as he dragged himself into the territory that belonged to Hiddenclan. It had certainly been a long - and fruitless night. Perhaps some of the other members had had a bit more luck though.

Flintpaw watched with annoyance as Hawktalon and Maplestar vanished out of camp. He stuck his tongue out as they left and grumbled as he turned to Shallow-water. He sighed, "okay, what do I need to do?"
