The Storm }|{ TWP RP

Continuing to trudge through the show towards the dark shadow, Nvyohi was halted suddenly when he heard a familiar voice picked up on the breeze. It sounded like it was coming behind him, near where Vala was. Turning back, he noticed that Vala was no longer behind him, and he bounded back to where he thought the voice was coming from. Arriving on the scene, he smelled the heavy scent of blood, and he saw Vala struggling to stand. He also saw Sophronia. He had so many questions to ask Soph, but had to help Vala. "I think there's a cave a few hundred feet from here. If we get there we should all be safe." He stood, gazing at Sophronia for another minute before he assisted Vala in standing up. "Soph-- you should come too. We need to get you to safety." Despite the swirling of snow and hail, the sun brought light to the surroundings. Vala was bleeding on her side, most likely from the hail. He hoped Soph wouldn't notice the large gash across his left eye from a hailstone. He knew it was going to scar. He continued to help Vala rise.

Sophronia smiled broadly when Vala spoke. "Well it's good to know you're alive." But her smile grew broader upon seeing Nvy. "Thank god you two are alive!" But her smile faded slightly at the mention of a cave. "I'm sorry Nvy, but I can't. Isi and Seth are in a small frozen cave not far from here. Isi's freezing and hungry, at the same time Seth is attempting to help her." She sighed, looking at Nvy for a moment then at Vala. "I'll get them. But the risk of losing you two once more isn't worth facing." She was unsure of what to do, torn between saving Seth and Isi, and keeping together with Nvy and Vala. But looking closely at Nvy's face she thought that she'd seen a cut but didn't think much of it at the time.

Vala was thankful when someone helped her up. She turned her head slightly to see Nvyohi. "Sir your okay!" she said happily. She was worried after they were split up by the storm. I think there's a cave a few hundred feet from here. If we get there we should all be safe. Vala nodded and winced when she felt snow melting on her open wound. She turned her head and saw that the wolf who was there with her was non-other than Sophronia. "Madame, I'm happy to see your alright!" She than realized how she had spoken to her earlier. "I'm sorry for the way I addressed you earlier madame." she said in hopes to be forgiven.

Vala looked at Nvy and nodded at him, saying that she would stick by him. She than turned to Sophronia and bowed her head to her.

Nvy nodded his head and looked up at Soph. "You should go help them, we'll be okay." He bore a crooked smile, as me made his decision. "The life of a pup is far more important than mine. But I need to take Vala to shelter, it's her only hope." Nvyohi paused. "You've got a strong nose, I bet you can scent us. Plus, if I find shelter for Vala then there's a possibility that Isi and Seth can be taken there as well." Nvyohi took a moment to scan his surroundings again. Just white snow. All he could see what white, except for Soph and Vala. The only thing he could feel besides numbness was hailstones pelting him furiously. His mouth despite all the snow was dry, and the only thing he could smell was blood-- that of himself and of Vala. He didn't want Soph to stay out in the storm to long, or she, too would be in danger. "Just promise me you'll be okay." Nvyohi smiled, hoping nothing would happen to Soph. He didn't know what he would possibly do without her...

[Pandora Gaskarth]

(P.S, Its Pandora, not pan-like-wolf )

Pandora's eyes fluttered open for but a moment, before snapping shut. Small icicles were forming at the ends of her silvery fur. Snow fell heavily around her, falling onto her fur and making her heavier. Though she was unconcious, she shuddered and whimpered every once in a while. She was letting go...but inside, in her big heart, she did not want to. She wanted her legacy to live on in more than the memories of others. Pandora whined again, but her eyes remained closed, whether because of the frost on her eyelashes or because she was physichally unable to because she had no energy. She loved fuss, but this was the type of fuss she would have told everyone to stop doing if she had been awake. But, of course, she was unable to, so she just lay ontop of the wolf meekly, letting her life force struggle to stay inside her.

"Hey, you're whining," Ursala croaked. "If you are, please conserve your energy for more urgent means." She turned away and trudged on, battling against the screaming wind. Everything was cold. She wondered if she would ever feel warmth again. I will, the storm will break, it'll end. Everything does. she assured herself. But one nasty thought popped up before she had time to squash it. Even lives.

Seth frowned. "Berries?" he queried. "Won't they be dead by now?" He shook out his fur, flinging out the water sagging his fur. "There are not much things left to eat now, but we've got plenty of water." He gestured around at the snow. "It should keep us going for some time." Hopefully before we turn into cannibals.

Tenacious led the way without a word, not even sure if this was the way to camp. There wasn't a sound he would hear at all, and if Tyrant had said something, he didn't hear it either. He fell back and went beside Dream. "Are you okay?" He sighed, looking around and sniffing the air. His pace quickened, he would've been running by now if they weren't in a snowstorm.

He glanced back at Dream, he had to slow down to stay beside her again. He quietly pressed himself against her, but as he looked up he pulled away and went back in front. He could see shapes in the distance, but if that was camp, he didn't know.

As Dreamcatcher brought herself forward again, slowly nodding in reply to Tenacious, as she then leapt forward to catch up. She clenched her jaws as the pain sharpened in her stomach... Jumping wasn't exactly the smartest idea she had today. She shook off the feeling then looked forward as she followed after the two males. She couldn't be behind for too long, she had to catch up, as it was even becoming difficult to see the two wolves along with her. Dream flinched as a piece of hail whacked her on the muzzle, then continued forward. She had been watching Ten as he slowed and waited, pressing himself to her side as she slightly nudged his shoulder, then attempted to keep up with them again.

Îneric watched Ursala and Pandora, as his tail moved from side to side; he knew who they were even with the blankets of snow falling on each of them. He leapt over Ursala and landed beside Pandora as he bent his head down to knock away a few of the icicles. Apparently, they hadn't known that he was there, but he was going to help anyway. He turned to notice Ursala was at least replying to the whining of Pan, as he took the female ( Pandora ) and nudged his muzzle under her front paws. He slid himself underneath her then slowly pushed up off of the ground, turning his head to push her onto his back. As he stood as tall as possible, he was now carrying her.

"Oh, so you're now the strong, brave one coming to save the day?" Ursala muttered. "Show-off." At least he'll soon realise that carrying Pan ain't no easy thing. Stupid jerk. She felt angry, why did Pan always get the spotlight? Such a drama queen, always whining and stealing wolves' boyfriends. Nasty madam. What a healer you will be, breaker of hearts. she thought bitterly.

She squinted at the sky. Even through all the snow and hail raining down upon her, it looked kind of...beautiful. The crystal like hail, powdery snow and the dream-like way they fell. Just rule out the cold and it could be a paradise. Okay, well, being dark and all that with the prospect of food becoming scarce, maybe more like playground. Ursala almost forgot Ineric and Pan (she thought it was). It would be better if they both "poofed" anyway. she mused silently.

Tenacious looked over at Dream and forced a smile. He nudged her with his nose and pointed it in front of him. "There's something up ahead!" He only now noticed the noisy winds, blocking nearly every word he said. Sigh wasn't any better, either, only Dream, Tyrant and that thing in the distance. He narrowed his eyes at the dark shape, they looked like dens lined up neatly, like in camp.But then again it could be a cave, or a mountain, or just a shadow in the snow.

Ten looked at Dream again, he went behind her to gently pushed her forward. The snow was squishy under paw, it was definitly getting warmer. Not warm enough, though, he was still freezing, even in a pelt as thick as his. Dream's fur wasn't as thick as his, so he hopped beside her and tried to keep her warm.
