Jadepaw woke to the bright light filtering in the apprentice den. With a slight yawn, she got to her paws, shaking out the moss from her silver pelt before pushing herself out of the den and into the sunlight.

Gravelpaw opened one eye, seeing the dappling light shining in the apprentice den. Giving a slight groan, he got to his paws and began to groom his matted pelt.
