He had collapsed outside the cave, thinking he was going to die. He woke up and found himself in the cave.

Ripper walked the streets, his tail drooping low and his nose held to the ground. He had run away from the people who declared themselves owners of him. He may have hated them, but there was food in that house. He sniffed around, looking for a friendly face anywhere. He barked out a call for help.
"Anyone? Is anyone there?"

Nancy guided Soup to the cave. When she got there, Jessie was nowhere to be seen.
Oh well! Nany thought. That pup's always going somewhere! She'll probably be back by nightfall!
"If you ever need a thing, just come to me, Soup." Nancy said. "I'm usually gone most of the day, but I'm always here by night unless something drastic happened. Go ahead and find yourself your spot. Your spot is where nobody else gets to touch, unless you want them. My spot is over there behind the rock."
Nancy pointed to a rock.
"You are always alloud to go there, but only if you have questions or if your frightened or somebody's hurt or dying." Nancy said. "Now, I'll go and see if there's anymore German Shepherds that are lost of abandoned."

Jessie heard somebody calling "Anyone?", and walked toward the voice slowly.
"Hello?" Jessie said to Ripper. "Are you alright? WHat are you doing out here?"

Ripper jumped when Jessie replied. He hadn't actually expected a response so quickly.
"I'm fine, thanks. I'm out here because...well...my owners weren't exactly the most pleasant people in the world. I'm a stray now."
He shook his head clear.
"Where are my manners? I'm Ripper, don't be fooled by the name, I was a guard dog. And you might be...?"

Shasta walked along the streets, she was cold and kinda scared. She had ran away from her owners house a few days ago and she had no place to go. She saw some woods off in the distance and started walking that way. Her paw hurt and she was limping,from where her owner stomped on it before she ran away. Her side also stung from where her owner had hit her with a belt on the same day.She kept walking but every step hurt when she put any weight down on her fragile paw.

Delgoto groaned lightly as he continued up twards the cave. His mucles ached and he felt like he was going to colapse. His white paws with black spots had blood dripping down.
"Ow ow ow" He groaned.
The cave was close, he could sense it. He finally gave into the ache and hit the stone ground before the cave. For a 10 month old puppy, he had guts. He just panted. That car had gotten him good, that for sure. He thumped his tail in an attempt to catch someone's attention.

Ripper smiled at the pup.
"You're a bit young to be wandering around by yourself. Are your parents around?"
