Personality:
When working, Riluo is very focused and can be rather serious. She loves baking, and wants to insure that everything her business puts out is the best it could possibly be. When not working, she's very bright and cheerful. She always has a smile for those around her and is very free with her laughter. Despite this she's not free with anything about herself. Riluo is easy to get to know shallowly but any attempt to dig beneath the surface will lead to her deflecting to any and everything else. She gives the impression of having been hurt before and wary of allowing it to happen again.
She's a notoriously soft touch not only with her own son, but all children. But she'd absolutely deny giving free cake or cookies to those that stop by.
History:
Little is known about Riluo's past, except that she came from... somewhere else. She was exhausted, wary, and had an egg carried carefully by her tail, but otherwise unharmed. A surprising fact considering she would have had to pass through the Shadow Pack's territory to reach the valley. She later, once she'd rested, claimed to have little to no memory of how she'd arrived.
Eventually things settled, Riluo revealed her baking ability and opened Sunlit. And eventually the egg hatched, Jiyu being welcomed by the valley.

Personality:
Jiyu is, apparently, excited by everything. He's just as friendly and prone to smiles and laughter as his mother, but without any of her guarded nature when it comes to himself. He will tell anyone who will listen anything. That he's old enough to go to school now! That his mother's cakes are the best, and that she taught him to be wary of the Shadow Pack just like everyone else was taught but surely no one can be that bad. He's a gentle soul, adventurous and smart for his age, but can be very naive.
History:
There is little of Jiyu's history to really speak of -- he hatched in the valley, and has spent his entire life there. He loves his home, but he clearly is very interested in what's outside it as well.

Personality: Kieran is an older dog who loves life. He likes to take it easy and lives at a slower pace. He is very friendly and is a well loved member of the community.
History: Kieran used to have a wife named Lela who sadly passed a few years ago. After her passing Kieran became very depressed and became reclusive from the community. Finally Kieran turned his life around and learned to love life.

History: Some people have theorized that Stella came from the Shadow Pack because no one knows who her parents are and she definitely looks more like a member of the Shadow Pack rather than a citizen of Smoothie Valley.

Personality: Ollie is a skilled liar and can fake emotions as well as any actor, but when he is not acting he is quite cold and emotionless. He is very well respected in the community for his outstanding work and spends almost all his time devoted to his job. Because of all the work he does he has little time for any relationships and he is perfectly fine with that.
History: When Ollie was a kid he used to act normal, he was sometimes even considered kind, but because of that many people teased Ollie and told him he was weak. After his parents died he decided to turn his life around and become what he is today.

Personality: Hazel is a bit strange, she talks to herself, can't sit or stand still, and is always brutally honest when asked a question, but behind all those weird quirks is a very loyal and sweet person who loves everyone. Some people can't seem to see behind Hazel's strangeness though and will go out of their way to avoid her, Hazel pretends like she doesn't notice them but on the inside she does and it hurts.

Personality: Liza just wants to stay away from as many people as possible so she can be alone. She hates her job as a peacemaker and despises anyone who gets in fights often, she also has a strong hatred for Smoothie Valley and all the people who live there. She hopes she will be allowed to retire soon so she can be alone more often.
History: When Liza became a peacemaker it was only because she wanted it to be quiet. Now she is almost completely deaf and noise is no longer a problem, these days her only problem is figuring out are how she can be alone when she has to break up fights every five minutes.
