Ferntail yawned and sat up in her nest. She could here soft chatter from outside as she exited the warriors den. She soon spotted Lumbertail trying to bug Goldheart. “Lumberheart! Have you gone hunting today?” She called out to him.

The white furred she-cat sat near the edge of the camp, having already eaten a small mouse and now just cleaning her long fur. At times she hated her fur for it was always getting dirty, but in leaf-bare she loved it since it kept her warm. Her different colored eyes watched the camp as cats began to move around, finally looking at the other two apprentices. She knew there names but that was about it, she didn't know what to talk about with them.

The medicine cat stretched, yawning as she woke up in the medicine den. Quickly, she got up, shaking out her light grey fur and looking around. The medicine cat started sorting herbs, noticing that they were running a bit low on catmint. This worried her, some cat might catch greencough.

Dovepaw snored loudly from her nest in the apprentice den, it was a wonder cats were still sleeping. The tabby slowly woke up, blinking as she looked around the den, still sleepily. She got up, wondering if anyone wanted to talk.

Nettleclaw was already up, the brown tabby sitting outside the warriors den and eating some prey quickly. He looked up as Ferntail called over to Lumbertail and Goldheart, wondering if they were doing something, he stood up and walked over.

The small she- cat stood outside of the medicine cat den, watching the clan quietly. She loved her job, but sometimes it did get boring when there was no one to help. Her gaze shifted to her mentor as she awoke.

The young warrior stretched his slender legs as his dream was interrupted by the bustling of the camp. Grumbling, he poked his head out of the warrior's den.
