Backstory ( If any ): She was born in StreamClan and lived a normal youth. The day before her and her brother's (Foxblaze) warrior ceremonies they celebrated with her parents by going on a border patrol with them. They were confronted by a larger LeafClan patrol, and while her father, Blackstream, was trying to talk his way through to the other patrol's leader, her mother, Thornblaze, made a heated comment and was attacked immediately by two of their cats. She and her father tried to break up the fight, but it was difficult to do, since her brother and mother were taking part in it. When Thornblaze fell to the ground with her throat slit, they all fell into battle instantly. They managed to wear them down, but while Rosethorn got off with just some scars on her belly, her father was blinded, his paw broken, and one ear shredded.

Backstory ( If any ): He lived most of his life up until now as a loner, having only joined the clan eight moons ago. Before he found StreamClan, he had been mates with a beautiful red siamese she-cat named Ginger. One day, as he was returning from a hunt, he heard her screech of alarm and rushed home to find her desperately clinging to the rock wall of the cliffs surrounding their home in an attempt to escape the huge lynx snapping at her tail. Their newborn daughter was hanging from her teeth, while their tiny tom rested on a ledge above her head. She managed to get the she-kit onto her own ledge, but as she prepared to climb up herself, the tom tumbled from his perch. Even as Eagleheart screeched for her to stop, she dove down after their son in a desperate attempt. He rushed forward to help, but by the time he reached them, she was limp on the ground and their kit was limp in the jaws of the retreating lynx. He launched himself up the cliff, snatching up his daughter quickly and racing from the scene. He decided three things then, as he ran from the death of his beloved and his son. First, that his daughter, who was the spitting image of her mother, would carry her name. Second, that he would never fall in love again and risk a repeat of this pain. And third, that he would never again watch a cat he loved suffer in such a manner; he would give his life before he allowed it to happen again.

Backstory: He was born in StreamClan and fell in love when he was a senior apprentice with Hazelrunner, a young she-cat in LeafClan. A few moons into being a warrior, he encountered her in a border dispute. He went for her first, because he knew if he was fighting her, none of his clanmates would be able to hurt her. She knew what he was doing, but as soon as she got the chance, she darted in and slashed at his eyes. He ducked out of the way, so she only tore his ear, but the meaning was clear, and he beat her enough to send her retreating, but was still unwilling to turn on her like she had to him. She bore his kits in secret, hoping to keep them in her clan, but he saw her with them in the old LeafClan camp when he accompanied a patrol to discuss border disputes about three moons ago. Knowing LeafClan was far stricter than StreamClan, he threatened to come out at the next gathering about what they had done unless she gave him one of their three kits. She agreed, reluctantly, though it was just as much out of spite an anger as it was attachment to her kits. She instructed Smokekit to run out of the camp to "chase away the foxes", and Cloudnose was there waiting for him. He took him and brought him to the camp, telling everyone he found him on the other border. It was a fairly easy lie, considering he resembled Hazelrunner and Cloudnose's father far more than he did Cloudnose.
