Greynose sat groggily outside the den, just silently watching around as he tried to wake himself up. His ear then twitched at the sound of pawsteps approuching him and he quickly swung his head around and saw Eaglefeather. "Mornin" He responded plainly, letting out a big yawn after. "Pretty much, the den is pretty small. I'm hoping Mistystar plans on getting some cats to renivate it to make it more roomy" The gray and white tabby responded to the younger warrior, his hazel eyes squinting as he glanced up at the trees. A couple bright rays of sunlight shone into his eyes as he did.

Topaz chuckled mischievously as she sat down next to the Healer, silently snickering to herself as she watched the she-cat calm down. She was honestly surprised that Juniper didn't claw her ears off after she spooked her on purpose. That's what usually happened with most cats she did that top and there were a lot of them. Although Juniper was a healer after all so she figured she'd be more calm around annoying cats. Her ears then perked up at her question and she happily responded "Oh sure! A mouse would be good" The bluish-grey she-cat purred, her green gaze scanning the fresh kill pile before she picked out a decent sized mouse. She dropped it at her paws and pushed it over to Juniper, she felt she deserved the first bite.

Mistystar had been sitting on a sunny rock, licking a paw and drawing it over her ear. She tended to try to wake early, just so she could be awake and alert if she were needed. Her ear perked when she heard her name mentioned. She stood and hopped off the rock, making her way to Eaglefeather and Greynose, who she assumed were the ones who had said her name. "What about me?" she asked curiously with a casual yawn.

Graycloud flicked her tail a few times, pondering whether or not to leave the comfort of her nest. She didn't really want to, but ah well, she'd have to get up eventually anyway. She padded out of the warrior's den and sat down, waiting for the day to start.

Heron blinked lazily when he woke. After a nice stretch, he left the warmth of his nest and shook out his pelt. With a slight frown, he flicked a piece of moss from his shoulder. The chill in the air was so much nicer then the hot laziness that came with newleaf. To be honest, he was actually rather excited for leaf-bare. Childish as it was, he liked to play in the snow, even though it typically led to prey-shortage.

Eaglefeather nodding his head in response, added "I also had a hard time sleeping." He turned his head
away, shutting his eyes as he yawned loudly. When he heard the rich, clear voice of his leader, he flinched
involuntarily, only surprised because he had not expected her to be right behind them. "Oh, I didn't see
you there Mistystar! We were only talking about the warrior's den. Greynose and I think that it's getting a
little over-capacitated, and he was suggesting it might need to be expanded." He flashed her
friendly smile as he gazed over in her direction.

The young silver sharpclaw woke up with a violent sneeze. Sitting up quickly in her next, she dusted off a
piece of moss that had been sucked against her nose as she breathed. Sneezing again, she rubbed her face
with a paw. Eventually the ticklish feeling stopped and Whisper rose to her paws, murmuring soft apologies
to the rest of her denmates as she slipped out of the den. Sitting outside in the sun, she moved around and
licked herself clean of moss scraps, figuring she should probably re-make her nest before it's all stuck to her
pelt. Hearing her stomach growl, she glanced at the pitiful fresh-kill pile and decided she could go without
until all other cats that needed food were fed. Rising to her paws, she returned to the sharpclaw den and
glanced around, noticing Heron in his nest still. "Good morning!" She purred, her eyes bright. "Are you busy,
Heron? I was hoping to go hunting and I'm not sure I wish to go alone." She murmured, basically asking him
to join her. She'd had an issue with a MistClan cat recently and didn't want to leave camp alone.

Juniper smiled at Topaz, and took a small bite out of the mouse before pushing it back. She wasn't too hungry, but she knew that she needed to eat to be able to stay healthy if anything affected her clan during the upcoming leaf-bare. She for sure wasn't going to let anything happen to her clanmates, and to make sure that didn't happen, she needed to be strong and well-fed. Juniper knew that even though she was modest about her position, she was one of the most important members of her clan. The top priority was probably the leader, then the second in command, then herself, then the mothers, kits, and to-be's, and then the sharpclaws and elders. Of course, this was just how she herself saw her clanmates, others may think of the order differently than the way she did.

Stop getting lost in your thoughts! She scolded herself. Juniper was a dreamer, and therefore she typically became lost in thoughts easier than her likewise clanmates. "Hey, Topaz, what's it like hunting and fighting and going on border patrols? Juniper inquired at her fellow clanmate, head tilted in curiosity.

"Ah, yes. I hadn't thought of the size of the warrior's den for a while. Maybe one of you could organize something like a den patrol?" Mistystar suggested. She thought it might be a good experience to organize something, especially since Eaglefeather was a relatively new warrior and Greynose was a bit older.

"Mmm, good morning," Heron replied drowsily. "Ehhh, no. Not busy," he answer. Hunting? Sure, I could go for a nice hunt," he meowed affirmatively. He shook his head to wake himself up a bit, and then stood up. "Ready to go?"

Greynose almost jumped as Mistystar suddenly appered after he had just mentioned asking her about adding onto the warrior's den. He listened to what Eaglefeather said and nodded his head towards Mistystar. The gray and white furred tom let out a small sigh of releif as she agreed to that idea "Oh, i wouldn't mind organizing one. I helped with that little exspansion of the apprentice's den a few moons ago so i have some exsperience" Greynose meowed quickly after Mistystar had spoke. He was glad that soon enough, depending on how long this takes, the den would be more roomy.

Topaz happily waited till it was her turn to take a bite out of the mouse so when Juniper pushed it back she ducked her head down and quickly took a bit bite of the mouse. The juicy creature making a small purr rumble in her throat. She turned to hear Jupiter speak as she heard the healer trying to get her attention. Topaz had no trouble answering this as she spoke almost instantly "It's great! Trust me being a Sharp-claw... you just have so much freedom other than the times you need to help your clan of course." She then paused to cock her head to the side "Healers are allowed to hurt aren't they?" She inquired. Topaz hadn't been born in the clan and lived here her whole life but she didn't think that Healers had their faces shoved in herbs all day, every day.

Specklednose lifted his back leg up to give the side of his neck a good scratch before he directed his attention back to his herb piles. He was never an early riser when he was a kittypet, pretty much the exact opposite. Although his long while with the clan had changed that about him, he taught himself to wake up early as he knew how busy it was to be a medicine cat. He then turned his gaze back at Twistedpaw his apprentice, he cared for the young she-cat like she was his daughter. She was hard-working and dedicated to her work and with that he felt happy that he was the one training her to become a medicine cat. The ginger tabby tom padded over and gently nudged her awake, he wanted some help from her to gather some poppy seeds since they were very low on them.

Juniper took another small bite out of the mouse, leaving just enough meat for Topaz to have one final bite. She thought about the question, she had never been told that she wasn't allowed to hunt, she just hadn't really had any time to do so. She was always too busy sorting herbs, or mixing new batches and remedies for her clanmates to use. As her clan's healer, she had always been given a challenge or two based on the herbs she found. The herbs in the mountains had been much different than the herbs that she was now growing used to.

"No one ever told me I wasn't allowed to hunt, I just never bothered really learning. I was always too busy learning new techniques to be a healer, so I never got the chance." Juniper admitted her weakness, the longing to know being finally pulled up from the depths of her mind. "I had always wanted to learn, but you know, my life requires me to focus solely on the herbs and methods I was taught by my mentor. My mentor who only taught me basic fighting methods, which she thought I would never need." Juniper licked her paw, cleaning her ear free of a bit of stray dirt while she waited for Topaz to respond.

He had been keeping his eye on the freshkill pile and noticed it was getting low, so he decided it would be a good idea to both try to befriend new cats and help out out the clan at the same time.
