Viperstar purred as she awoke from a lovely dream, feeling the cold frosty air of the early morning dew around her that really woke her up. As she stretched and padded to the entrance of her den, she looked out among her camp as cats began to meander around for the day. Patrols would go out soon, and apprentices would go for training afterwards. She licked her lips at the thought of patrols finding some delicious fresh kill, and Viperstar thought she might join the patrol for today.

The young she-cat Cricketstep chuckled quietly as she watched the sunrise, waiting for the other cats that would join her on patrol to finally wake up. She noticed her leader standing on highrock looking down, and it made the warrior think about who would be the new deputy ever since Viperstar made the announcement that one would be picked soon. Cricketstep found it crazy that anyone would want to have that kind of responsibility, mostly because she enjoyed being a warrior just fine. Nevertheless, the she-cat began to clean herself so she felt less stiff, and stretched out her hind legs.

Cobra
She limped thought the bushes, hoping no one wouopd find her. She sniffed around for food as her stomach growled, and smelt a mouse. She kept her hurt leg off the ground, making her a bit lopsided as she stalked towards it.

Quailfeather

Quailfeather awoke from her dream about chasing mice and kits around a flowery field. Purring she blinked her eyes in the soft sunlight filtering in through the warriors den. She quickly cleaned up her fur and meowed a polite "Goodmorning" to Cricketstep. Looking over at her shorter-furred littermate she was still soundly snoozing away. Her hind leg twitched in an odd motion that almost made it seem as if the she-cat was trying to run. Another purr rumbled through her and she got to her paws padding over to Jaystreak and licked her ears. "Wake up Jaystreak. It's time to rise."

Jaystreak

Jaystreak flicked her ears away from her sister's tongue. Grouchily she sat up opening her mouth in a wide yawn. "I was so close to catching that squirrel." she complained. "You couldn't have let me sleep for just a moment longer?" she whined at her sister who just rolled her eyes knowing she was not being serious. Jaystreak licked a stray piece of moss from her fur and for the first time noticed Cricketstep was already awake. "Goodmorning Cricketstep. How's the prey running?"

Fang

Fang heard an angry yowl and pawsteps behind him. He ran with all his speed, which was hindered by two mice and some type of two-leg meat in his mouth. The four alley cats behind him were not happy with him snatching their dinner and as he rounded a sharp turn of a tall two-leg nest Fang vowed to not let them show how angry they were with their claws on his pelt.

She snatched the mouse off the ground in a swipe and started eating it. She glanced around, hoping no one would find her.

Cricketstep Female / 24 Moons / Tags; QuailFeather, Jaystreak

Cricketstep gave a gentle nod towards Quailfeather with content in her eyes, watching the she-cat wake her littermate. As Jaystreak mewed a happy greeting to her, Cricketstep flicked her tail slightly as she gave a sharp but playfiul reply."Hopefully good. I'm wanting to find some nice vole for morning meal, if the patrol would hurry and wake." The cat teased, knowing that her fellow warrior would be going with her on the patrol that morning. (If that's okay?)

Instead of adding more trouble to the patrol, Viperstar decided to go see around camp on who was doing what. (I really am having writer's block for Viperstar rip)
