Rainstar - Female - 80 moons - near the leader's den
Rainstar hummed to herself as she weaved some feathers from her breakfast into her nest. She patted it down, feeling for any points and making sure the shafts of the feathers were pointed away from the center of the nest. After shifting some moss around a bit more, she nodded to herself in approval before heading out into camp.

Sparrowclaw - Male - 25 moons - in camp
Sparrowclaw ducked through the camp's entrance with a frustrated huff. He had aimed to catch some early morning fish but had had absolutely no luck. The river was low, the marsh was low, and neither place turned up a catch. He took a seat by the fresh-kill pile looking through it dejectedly with one paw. He had really wanted a fish for breakfast.

Snowpaw - Female - 9 moons - in the apprentice's den
Snowpaw was still in her nest, paws tucked underneath her and fluffy tail wrapped up alongside her. She knew she should probably be out doing things but she figured there was no harm in laying round for a bit. She caught sight of her uncle digging through the fresh-kill and making disappointed faces at everything he pulled out. Snowpaw laughed quietly to herself as she watched his continued attempts at finding something he wanted to eat.

Gatorfoot - Male - 134 moons - above the elder's den
Gatorfoot lay basking on the rocks that made the ceiling of his den. The warm newleaf air breezed through his fur and he closed his eyes contentedly, face tilted up towards the sun.

Bearkit - Male - 3 moons - in the nursery
Bearkit sat a few tail-lengths from Orchidflower, eyeing her two kits with wide greenish eyes. Was he ever that small? He knew he was small compared to the warriors but they were small. Like really small.

Smokycloud - Location: Near Fresh-Kill Pile - Tagged: Sparrowclaw

The gray warrior stood up after he finished his vole - he had done some early morning activities since it was fairly nice out and was planning what he wanted to do with Snowpaw that day for training. Since it wasn't too warm or cold or really anything, he figured hunting would be fine. They'd need all the prey they could get after the greencough outbreak that leafbare, anyways. Then, he noticed Sparrowclaw sit near him. "Hey, what's bothering you?" he asked with concern in his voice.

Badgerpaw - Location: Near Camp Entrance - Tagged: Open

The young apprentice couldn't wait to begin training that day - he had been working extra hard on his free time to perfect the method of hunting birds Thornclaw had shown him the other day, and figured he had it down well. He had been practicing for hours on end, and had even gotten up early that morning for an early start with his routine. He was ready to face the day's challenges, whatever they may have been.

Spottedpaw - Location: Apprentice's Den - Tagged: Open

It wasn't that she didn't care - she cared a lot, in fact - she was just so tired from what had happened recently and her training last night was exhausting. She even had to go on a late night patrol, which wasn't the greatest on her energy. At the moment, she was lying on her back in her nest dreaming about cats who could fly, which made hunting birds and other creatures much easier. In her physical form, a smile crept onto her lips and her paws twitched.

orchidflower laid on her side, nursing her two newborn kits, amberkit and birdkit. she smiled proudly, exhausted as well, and closed her eyes for a peaceful rest.

fawnpaw padded into the nursery, checking on orchidflower and her kits. (writer's block ;o;)

Mouseleaf padded to the nursery, seeing her apprentice there. there wasn't much of an age difference between the two she-cats, she was only 4 moons older than her apprentice. She had become the medicine cat before her mentor had died, and she had more experience than fawnpaw, which she would teach her. She didn't put much thought into thinking about that. Mouseleaf nosed Orchidflower's wriggling kits softly, being careful not to disturb the sleeping queen.

Sandbranch - Location: Outside Warrior's Den - Tagged: Open

The young warrior stretched his limbs as he exited the warrior's den; he didn't think he'd ever get used to the feeling of sleeping in there, the excitement of finally moving up in the ranks. He looked around the camp, glad to see everything was still going so well. He figured he ought to visit Orchidflower and her kits sometime that day, but it looked like they were already busy with Fawnpaw and Mouseleaf.

As Rainstar stepped into the sunlit clearing, she stretched, claws digging into the soft grass. She scanned the camp for her deputy and trotted over to him when she spotted him. "Ah Thornclaw, have you assigned a morning border patrol yet? I want to make sure the rogues aren't edging into our territory."

Sparrowclaw - Male - 25 moons - Tag: Smokycloud, fresh-kill pile

"Hm?" Sparrowclaw looked up at the sound of his clanmate's voice. "Oh I was just really feeling fish for breakfast and I didn't think we had any..." He pulled the crow he had settled on out of the pile, "And we don't. I even went out early to try and catch something myself but it's like the water's empty!" He shook his head and bit into the crow.

Bearkit - Male - 3 moons - Tag: in nursery

Bearkit watched as the two medicine cats entered the nursery. "Was I ever that small?" He spoke suddenly, voicing aloud his train of thought to no cat in particular.

"Oh, well that's unfortunate!" the tom nodded in agreement. "I suppose we could try again later with our apprentices? I hear Spottedpaw's doing well being a new apprentice and all, and I figured today would be a good day to take Snowpaw out hunting." he offered. The elder warrior knew it'd probably take a bit before the prey started running well once more in the territory, but figured he'd try and get a head start.

The new apprentice finally woke from her slumber to see Snowpaw sitting nearby. She couldn't exactly remember what her dream was about - something do with birds, she was sure of. However, she decided to roll back over onto her stomach, sit up, clean herself off, and pad over to where the older apprentice was sitting. "Morning, Snowpaw." she cheerily greeted with a yawn.

The young she-cat squirmed her way out of the apprentices den and yawned,her jaw cracking.The sun felt surprisingly warm on her pelt as she padded towards Rainstar and Thornclaw. Her ears pricked at Rainstars question,"Could I go on the patrol? I haven't been out much lately." She reminded them, her eyes bright at the thought of chasing of rouges.

Thornclaw looked over rainstar and her apprentice and moved his paw away from small symbols he had carved into the ground with his claws. "For the patrol i've got Spiderpounce, Driftmoon, Badgerpaw, Myself, And I'm adding Autumnpaw now." He told the two cats at he carved the small shape of a leaf into the ground.
