Redwood padded out of the warrior's den, still groggy from waking up. He sent a glance at the rising sun, then stretched and yawned. He frowned to himself when he'd noticed he'd woken up a bit late.

Jayclaw slowly crept up to the bushes, keeping his scent downwind, letting the rest of the patrol follow him silently, he sprung into the bushes, a yowling, screeching ball of fur rolling out from the bush.
