NightClan has a special connection with StarClan, therefore some cats that have died can appear in camp to visit their friends and family, but be warned, that means that so can Dark Forest cats. StarClan cats cannot talk to living cats outside of their new realm unless they have been dead for at least 10 moons

In Leafbare when they are having a prey shortage, they must go to carrionplace to hunt for rats to get prey, it is very dangerous

Others clans consider them mysterious and untrustworthy, but they are about as kind and loyal as any other clan's cats, unless they are becoming trained to follow the ways of the Dark Forest or rogues

Russetstar and Shiver have nine lives, so does Ivy but no one knows that

Their main prey is fish and they love to swim, and are known for their fighting and surprise attacks from the shadows

They live in thick pine forest, next to a large lake in the middle of all five clans, they also have a river running through territory, and live near the mountains like AppleClan, although FeatherClan is in the mountains

They are basically like a mixture of RiverClan and ShadowClan

Spiritstar brought WhisperClan to the forest

They have a large underground cave system running through mainly their territory although it is completely underground in some other clans' territories. This is where Russetstar and Shiver's clan, CaveClan, live

Many cats in NightClan are quite romantic

Two medicine cat apprentices and one medicine cat are allowed, so three medicine cats since they have so many cats!

Although their main prey is fish, they sometimes catch birds and if they are lucky mice and voles, but fish are most common can feed the whole clan so they'd rather catch the prey that is plentiful

Their ally clans are FeatherClan and of course WhisperClan

Their enemy clan is LeafClan

NightClan cats can communicate with other animals easily

Dead NightClan cats heal automatically in their realm but not in others... For example: A cat in the Dark Forest would heal automatically if hurt in the Dark Forest, but in StarClan and reality, it would not

Brief history- Read about his life before Russetwing in “The Agony That Was My Life”
When Brightshine’s best friend Russetwing returned from the facility bearing kits, he was always there for her. They soon fell in love, and he raised the kits as his own. Sadly, Redkit died. Spiritstar announced him deputy after Icesky, and he soon became leader when she died at the claws of Thornstar in the great battle. He received lives from Spiritstar, Shinepaw, Redkit, Reddawn, Spiritpaw, Rainpaw, Whispkit, Sparkkit, and Flashheart.
Since then, though he hated Russetpaw with a passion, he earned his respect, so he was allowed back into the Clan. After that, they became great friends.

MEET Grayfeather AND JAYWING

"Well, I'm Grayfeather, and he's Jaywing!"

History;;
(Told from Jaywing's point of view)
Jaykit was always a wild, reckless kit. He often got himself and his brother in trouble, sneaking out of camp and getting into things he wasn't supposed too. Graykit was a shy, timid kit, who usually went along with whatever his brother did. He was gullible and easily convinced. (Jaykit was named for purely after his grandfather, whom passed the moon before. Graykit is named for his pelt, which resembles the silver moon.) Featherwing often scolded them.
Graypaw and Jaypaw were apprenticed to Woolyfur and Smallcloud. Jaypaw was a reckless, stubborn, hardheaded apprentice. He didn't change much from kithood. Graypaw, however, came out of his shell and opened up. By this time he had gained the friends and didn't always listen to his brother.
Jaypaw was always thinking up reckless, hairbrained schemes that he thought would have them made Warriors sooner. He was still able to convince Graypaw to help him. They were always in trouble, Jaypaw most of all.
When the two were eight moons, disaster struck. Two dogs had escaped a Twoleg one day, and had intruded into the camp. Most cats were to shocked to reacte quickly. The dogs reached the apprentice's den first. If Featherwing hadn't taken the blow for him, Jaypaw would be dead. Featherwing lost her life in that battle.
Finally, the time came for them to become warriors. Jaypaw, right before he was given the name the leader had chosen, asked if he to pick his own. This he became Jaywing, in honor of his mother. The lives of Jaywing and Grayfeather have been normal since they became warriors.

Grayfeather loved Scarletflare. She knew that, but didn't love him back. One day they got into an argument, and she ran away to SpikeClan, where she met Shred. Soon she came back, and had Shred's kits. He offered to pose as the father, and they soon became mates. When they finally told the kits the truth, Tigerpaw went to find her real father, who murdered her to hurt Scarletflare. Grayfeather ended Shred's life.

Jaywing has discovered he is homosexual and is mates with Hawkflight.

Salazar grew up in an ally with his family. His parents constantly trained he and his brothers to become the 'top dog' of the ally. The final test came-a battle to the death. Salazar killed his brothers.
When he was eighteen moons, Salazar gained a mate named Brindle. She was the only cat he cared for. They had kits. Then a cat named Feral, a cat who had challenged Salazar and lost, came in the middle of the night. He killed Brindle and two of their newborn kits. Sal arrived in time to save the third, a small she-cat.He wandered the forest until he found NightClan, where he joined with Doe and started a life with Applewing.
