"The city?",Mackrel raised an eyebrow,"You smell like the forest to me,who are your parents?"

Greykit thought for a moment. "Didn't meet them. Stupid.. human threw me out with all my sisters before we could. I ran away to the forest, while all of them got care." She mewed, almost shielding herself away from the truth.

[Mango Tart]

"Hmm",Mackrel twitched his tail,"And what are you planning to do now?"

[a little guy]

Greykit sat up straight. "I decided to find a new.. human. One that would actually care enough not to throw me out." She said, a small smile at her truth.

[Mango Tart]

"My twoleg maybe,she and her mate have been a bit lonely since the last child moved out",Mackrel suggested

"But what about you? Surely I would just get in the way!" Greykit mewed, standing up now.

[Mango Tart]

"No,they've come to me for comfort and they seem so dull,a kit like you would liven their spirits",Mackrel scratched his ear

(I love how nobody actually knows Greykit is missing.. Might create some drama when she doesn't come back for a while :3)

Greykit smiled. "Only if your sure." She turned, considerably happier than before.

"Oh,they'll love you",Mackrel nodded,"If it stays just me they'll have petted all my fur off!",he purred in amusment

Greykit bounded forward, with a smile on her face. "I cant wait!" She said excitedly. Finally, a chance to live a whole new life.
